wrote my first commentary for BizPac Review a year ago out of a sense of frustration with the TV media. I awoke last May 2 to the news that Osama bin Laden was killed by a U.S. Navy SEAL team. The details were scant but nonetheless fascinating.
He was killed on May 1 at his compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan. This area is the home of the country’s equivalent to our U.S. Military Academy at West Point. His body was removed and his wives were taken in, along with his papers and records. Fox News finally reported that our intelligence agencies eventually located bin Laden’s whereabouts through a tiny sliver of information gleaned from a Guantanamo Bay prisoner four years earlier. I thought to myself, Wow, enhanced interrogation works. I expected the newscaster to echo my thoughts. He didn’t.
After an hour of listening to the TV reporters’ failure to connect the dots, I sent an email to everyone on my contact list.

Why do you desecrate Mary with your title?
I know you are using an expression that no longer truly intends such translation, but nonetheless it still offends the owner of the name, like God Dam it, or Jesus F ing Christ, son of a B, Mother F, ..... a slam of God, a sinless perrson, a mother.
And I offend Him as well when I do that - and it’s a hard one for me too in moments.
I ask that the title be modified, Thank you.
