Yepper - I came to Biloxi (Keesler AFB) in ‘86 the year befor it went down with the Sherrys. Gillich was bad, but Halat made him look like a slightly wayward Boy Scout. The whole deal ade me wonder about the South. 26 years later and it’s my home...this “damn Yankee” never left and wishes he had grown up down here.

Some folks think northerners who come and don’t leave are “damn yankees.” To me, those who come and appreciate it are honorary born and raised Southerners.
In ‘86, I was living in Wilmington, NC., which is why I didn’t hear about this case. I liked it there, but wished I was in Missippy.
