Can anyone suggest the best home security camera systems--easy to install and remotely monitor through the Internet?
Happy with my QSee system.
The Linksys (Cisco) cameras are pretty good. You can view them on an Android phone.
Placemark bump!
Anyone try the Izon?

QSee is good, as long as you can run wire.
Anything wired. You don’t want your wireless cameras hacked. Inconvenient; a pain in the @$$? You bet. But a more secure system IMHO.
“Anything wired” You dont want your wireless cameras hacked.”
Thanks. Good point. I didn’t think about hackers.
Google X10 security systems. No monthly fees and many choices for home security. My husband set it up. It works.

I’ve toyed with home security cameras since the days of the first X10 systems. First, go wired, CCTV, since wireless cameras suck. Second, buy your cameras and CCTV DVR separate. Third, I hope you are familiar with router port forwarding, etc.. to get the remote access to work.
I use the cameras and DVR below and can see my home from anywhere in the world as long as I have 3G or internet access.
I have a 1TB drive which gives me about 90 days of recording.
