On Wednesday, Arby's inflamed the conservative blogosphere with the announcement on Twitter that it will no longer advertise on Rush Limbaugh's show. Big mistake. The statement probably would've blown over, like all the rest of them, but Arby's moves following the announcement have awakened a sleeping giant. Shortly after its statement, the Arby's Twitter account went on a rampage blocking users who disagreed with the franchise, as Twitchy reported:

There is a YOGI BEAR'S HONEY FRIED CHICKEN in Hartsville SC. Great Stuff!
I believe Arbys is the chain that tried to switch from processed beef to natural carved and had such a bad backlash from their customers that they went back to the processed beef. No accounting for taste.
I practitioner lived there when they had their Gyro’s. Since then. Not so much...
Er... “ practically”...
Lion’s Choice is only in the St Louis area and remains outstanding, the way you remember it.

Still there...
The one in Columbia sucked. It was processed just like Arby’s.
Wendy’s sold to Roark, but still holds 18.5% of Arby’s.
In St. Louis:
Lion’s Choice Roast Beef >>>>>>>>>>> Arby’s Brown Rubber
*Pink slime* rules! LOL.
Rush has 20 million listeners who will no longer “sponsor” Arby’s.
They aren’t going to miss my business. I might have eaten there last in the early 90s. I get their coupons and they’ve all been going in the garbage. I try not to eat crap.
And the real misnomer is that they advertise locally DURING the Rush Limbaugh show, not ON the Rush Limbaugh show. All a company that is worried about a political backlash should do is issue a statement such as "we advertise on a local radio station at all hours to reach a diverse local audience, hence a diverse selection of shows. Consider our advertisement support of K___ (or W___) and not a particular show. We will continue to support our local stations."
Went into a Kelly's Roast Beef back up north and had a REAL roast beef sammich and a cup of clam chowdah. Damn, just thinking about it makes it almost worth ponying up the airfare again.
Nice knowing you Arby’s. Another product I will avoid from now on.
Arby’s...You just lost a loyal customer here. My convictions will trump my appetite any day of the week.
Have eaten there 3 times in my entire life, once because it was the only food option at restaurant on a long road trip
I don’t see how anyone can eat their food. It’s just way too salty for me!!
Back in the day, we used to call it Barfy’s. Guess it still is.
Your proposed statement makes perfect sense - which is why the left would never accept it. Back when this first started and Citrix blundered into the middle of it I chided them similarity:
“Instead of taking a neutral stance in the face of foolish low-brow domestic terrorism you’ve chosen to acquiesce to the evil agenda of the left. Ironic, since they aren’t noted for purchasing your products in any substantial quantities and I am - or was. Enjoy your new-found irrelevancy”
DAMN, I’ve been “hankering” for a roast beef sandwich or hot ham and cheese sandwich and potato cakes for the last week. Guess I’ll just have to make it for myself!
