McGrath: “The Control Grid is Being Put Into Place to Handle What They Know Is Coming.”
SHTF Plan ^ | 4/6/12 | Mac Slavo

Posted on 04/06/2012 5:39:37 PM PDT by Kartographer

Excerpted from Charlie McGrath (video follows excerpt):

You’re going to see what’s happening in the rest of the world come to this country. It Is Inevitable. It Is Going To Happen.

Do you think for one second Department of Homeland Security is ordering 450 [million] man shredder rounds so that they can sit back and plink at gofers on the weekend? Absolutely not.

Do you think this one internet bill after another, this trying to clamp down on the sharing and free ideas on the internet because it’s not good for people? No. The control grid is being put into place to handle what they know is coming. They already know this is coming. A kinder gentler government is on its way out the door. Par tyranny is what’s on the menu.

Oops - and you even pinged it out. I’m really not paying enough attention...

Yep. People generally don’t know how much of the stuff you burn in any serious shooting.

Btw, is there still a sellers market for ammo like .45acp in the US? What about longrange hyper performance hunting ammo?

After clearing the Senate on a 74 – 22 vote

Kind of explains why the fantasy of 60 or 65 Republicans in the Senate wouldn't do us any good anyway. Dems could lose 10 seats and we'd still get this fascist garbage shoved down our throats. A lot of Senate "Republicans" are just Dems that haven't come out of the closet.

Certain calibers are still high and in short supply. Certain powders are in short supply... the shortages fluctuate. .45ACP, .223 and 7.62 are available... sometimes priced well and sometimes not. It is a spotty market. Ammo is high enough and money is tight enough that I can't shoot as much as I want to. I even have a small range setup. Plinking with .22’s on occasion is all I ever do these days.

I myself have burned through over 2000 rounds of .45 ACP and 2500 rounds of 5.56 in an afternoon's shooting for serious practice.

You have to be working pretty hard to go through that kind of ammo in an *afternoon*.

The government probably provides the ammo for the qualifying, but I suspect agents buy their own ammo for practice. And your example of ammo use in one afternoon hardly translates into a model of every gun toting agent.

I'd like to see how many personnel are actually carriers and have to qualify. There is a whole lot of information we are having to extrapolate in this debate. A lot of assumptions being made.

The biggest mistake everyone makes is that they take individual or a few examples and make that into everyone in the relevant domestic agencies. It is a fallacy of logic to go from the micro to the macro.

I forgot to add that some of the calibers like 7mm Rem mag, .375H&H, .300 Weatherby Magnum, .458 and the semi-exotics are priced through the stratosphere.

Big ol’ roll of tin foil there. The 450 million rounds of .40 short and weak are a ten year expenditure. Considering the number of Federal agents carrying a .40.... This works out to an average well below your average shooter...

It is a multi-year supply contract, locking in a price mark and it can be exercised for up to 450 million rounds. I am not defending the DHS and janet incompetano... but in this case... I do not see anything out of the ordinary. Now if the State Department, Department of Education or the IRS order 450 million rounds... worry.

Again, I think there is just too much extrapolation from insufficient hard numbers (people / guns / usage) in this argument.

I know you’re not defending DHS or Heinrich Napolitano. But one must anticipate future actions by studying the people and their previous behavior. DHS, Janet and the rest of Obama’s secret police wannabes are not to be trusted with BB guns, IMO. DHS officials have not been circumspect in their belief that freedom of movement in this country is not a right. One (I can’t remember who, think he was TSA) actually stated that we had no right to free movement around the country.

So, my position is one of extreme skepticism anytime I see these people doing something like this. There is entirely too much preoccupation in the federal domestic law enforcement agencies with monitoring and regulating the day to day behavior of US citizens with no criminal background. All under the guise of catching terrorists that they refuse to go after.

I’m profiled as some sort of seditious malcontent who presents a threat to the safety of the US because I know the real law of the land to be the Constitution. Muslim training camps operating on US soil are essentially ignored. Which pretty much puts the lie to the claim all of this rampant confiscation of our rights is needed to combat *real* terrorism.

Most of these people should be disarmed, many should be fired, and some belong in leg irons.

I can’t disagree with your post. Dead on assessment. It is healthy to be skeptical... there are real and valid reasons to be on guard. I have read about this and talked with people that I trust that know what is going on and this IMHO is not as nefarious as it seems. That is just my opinion at this time but I... like you... do not trust any of the government. We have to be cautious... just look at the propaganda they sent out on the jobs market today. It was horrible... worst since last October... but they sold it as improving conditions and blue skies ahead.

Good news comrades. The chocolate ration is being increased from 30 grams to 25 grams.

I’m more in line with your thinking on this issue. The ammo they are talking about is +p+ full house rounds, frangibles. These are not training rounds. If you had people training with this stuff they would probably all develop a world class flinch for one thing not to mention its hard on the weapons and the backstops of your range. As far as I’m concerned let them train with this stuff. Most of them can’t hit the broad side of a barn anyway. Everytime they squeeze one off and do a squint and twitch OK by me.

If they do decide to turn their tender mercies on the general public I don’t think handguns are going to do that much good. Just remember distance is your friend.

The sugar content has been reduced by 75% of the original amount and has been replaced by powdered cardboard... cost went down from $1.00 a bar to $5.00 a bar. Look for obamawonka chocolate at your favorite party headquarters.

I saw that. I want to know how many bullet resistant booths and where exactly they’re going to be placed. It’s one thing if they’ve ordered a couple dozen to replace old ones along the border (not that there’s any real security there) or if they’re going to be placed at my city limits sign to check my travel papers. Of course, I’d have to make sure my taxes had been paid in order to keep my passport. Inch by inch...

They probably aren't very good shots, being against the 2nd Amendment, and all. They had to buy extra.

Announcing the purchase may be some sort of a threat, designed to intimidate us, but when they miss the first shot, we will have time to kill them before they draw a bead for the second.

I do love my PS90.
