After seeing the SCOTUS trial on Obamacare it has become increasingly obvious that Left-wing Democrats (leaving out the moderates) live in a bubble and are detached from the American people. They believe that they know what is best for not only America, but every individual inside of this great country. So who is to blame for this isolation of the Democratic Party and why they are disconnected from the public (and sometimes reality)? Us.
For too long Americans have left unchecked powers reign supreme over this land. Americans stopped following politics and ideological stances their candidates were making. All Americans know what our president believes but do they know how their representatives has been voting? How about their state and local governments? Obama and the left believed that Obamacare would be like social security or Welfare, filled with opposition in the beginning but once people had it they would see that our benign leader was right all along. The idea of let the politicians handle the government and the sheeple to do as they are told is the mindset a lot of politicians have today.
Then suddenly the political world was hit by an earthquake. In 2010 the Republicans with Tea Party backing swept the house and may have triggered a new era in American politics as big as the Revolution of 1800. People became more active and changed the talk of government. We went from "where to spend money" to "why spend money." Soon after the Budget battle was on which lead to a grinding stop in the government. The media was quick to support an idea that its better to have a one-party system then a chamber of people who cannot agree. In times like these we must look to the Founders. The Founding Fathers did not see gridlock as a bad thing because it meant all ideas were being heard. It also meant that tyranny by the majority would not become abundant in America.
Something is changing in America today, people are listening. The populous is becoming ever-vigilant in its struggle against government. The SOPA event is a prime example of what active Americans can do. People are rallying behind political ideas that expand past social issues. We did not come to these times by accident and it certainly did not happen over night. We have an uphill battle to reduce the size of the government, balance our budget, and to restore Americas credit rating. However daunting this task may be, I am confident that the fight is just beginning and I am hopeful (God-willing) that we will win this battle and restore America to its original ideals.
Utopians desire a perfect world, which ultimately requires two things:
1. Everyone must be rebuilt in their image.
2. Totalitarian power to enforce #1.
Nonconformists are evil, as they stand in the way of the perfect world. And anyone unable to thrive using Leftist models is a nonconformist.
Its really a short trip to North Korea.
We will see if we are Changing in November,we will choose to restore or to commit suicide
Why are we focusing on just democrats? Nothing in the republican party suggests to me that they are helping either.
We will see if we are Changing in November,we will choose to restore or to commit suicide
Mitt or Obama. Either way it’s more of the same.
Want proof:
An uneducated public is the reason for our demise.
Obama talks to these, and they listen.
Anyone who knew history and has ability to reason would know:
1. socialism has been tried many times and failed
2. what makes he country great is the limitation of governmental power, not its increase
3.freedom and the free market is the optimum way a society can be healthy
Wouldn’t it be nice to hear Republicans say that socialism is not only failed ideology - most recently in Greece - but that it is unconstitutional because it violates the separation of powers.
Actually the GOP is socialist, too. Anyone against socialism or it’s GOP politicans is named a conservative “extremist.”
