Oh, I wouldn't go that far. I've read your posts for years, and you've got focus, my friend.
When can I measure up to you...oh, windflier san.
Very interesting thread since I work in the Jewelry business and am a single woman.
Nice to hear the love shared in those who are married since ‘the world’ does seem to make marriage sound undesirable most of the time. Not often one hears about good marriages so it’s very refreshing and good to hear.
Having been single for quite some time so I will offer this from the aspect of a single woman. When married men approach you it is very different then when a single man does so. The difference in their behavior and stance is without question noticable.
As I single woman I honor the marital vows of married people, even if they don’t. It’s never a good idea to mess with God’s work in joining the two together ‘as one’....especially since you’ll be messing with God Himself..... Very dangerous.... and will always hurt innocent people...often for life....especially those with children.
Selling wedding bands ...it’s interesting to see that the men are not as particular about the style of the ring as much as ‘quality and fit’...and most are very particular about the latter....
Though I work in Jewlery I do not care to wear more than a watch and earings.....just not into Jewelry myself, always end up taking it off before I leave for work.
Many woman need to stand in front of a mirror and take off half of the pieces they wear. Too many look like their wearing their Jewlery box!
