Like Reagan?
So all we want are Natural Born Conservatives? Sorry but that’s nonsense.
I don’t care, how many hours do you spend digging up dirt for a lost cause? Everyone has been trashed to death and in the words of one of the greatest POS ever born, “This war is lost”.
It was a grand exercise in self defeat.
Maybe you could spend some of your politigymnasty-ics on Obama’s infanticide problem.
Republican politicians don’t gain instant credibility by invoking the name Ronald Reagan, and nor do their defenders.
As I’ve pointed out earlier, Rick received the support of pro-abortion Republicans such as Whitman, Giuliani and Specter to win in ‘94 and ‘00, and he needed them to win his seat. The SE quadrant of Pa. is rife with country clubbers who stand for social liberalism. Note, he is applauding at the end of the rally for a candidate who ended his campaign with more SS protection than delegates. Everyone, including Rick, knew that Specter was a dud except the admirer of a man’s rippling muscles himself. Bob
Which curiously enough still doesn’t respond to the point. I think we do harm to the conservative cause if we shut out all those that came to it by conviction rather than by birth. I don’t remember when I “became” conservative, but I don’t hold it against those that do.
Saint Rick wont recover from this video.
He is a disaster and will bring this entire party down on the path he is going.
Santorum has been nothing more than a spoiler and a hypocrite since the very beginning.
Sure he will. This is too stupid to matter.
He won’t be the nominee, but that’s already in the cards.
I saw Santorum on TV yesterday with Chris Wallace. He looked weird to me. Kind of unstable. I can’t explain it really. He just had this stupid grin on his face throughout the interview - like he was feeling no pain.
The only thing that matters regarding pro-life is his voting record in the Senate.
The fact that he clapped for Specter at a rally... that’s pretty thin stuff.
And I say that as someone who doesn’t particularly like Santorum (for his record on unions for one thing), but I take him at his word that he is pro-life and has been for a long time. And is sincere about it.
The video is from the year of the flood. Just look how youthful Specter is!
