Karen Santorum says husband is on his knees daily before God
The right scoop ^ | April 1st, 2012 | Staff

Posted on 04/01/2012 11:15:05 AM PDT by Sun

Karen Santorum says it’s hard to watch the media and opponents make her husband out to be something he really isn’t, especially when she knows he’s a very compassionate, brilliant man who cares more than just about the social issues, but about the economy, jobs, national security, less government, and freedom.

She also says his Christian faith is everything, that he’s a very deeply spiritual man who is on his knees daily as a servant before God. To his critics that believe he is too religious, she simply says that we all bring our own perspectives to the publics square, but that its important to know where he’s coming from, that he isn’t going to make people do what they don’t want to do.

The guy is foreign to knowing Conservative Economic solutions, just look at his continuing Liberal Economic policies of a Progressive Income Tax and Vote Buying with dependent child tax credits. Many Democrats love God too.

Not sure what your definition of a conservative is, but mine is not someone who wants people with kids paying higher taxes. Sure, in unicorn and rainbow world, a flat tax would be great. But we live in the real world and taking away deductions for mortgage interest, kids, etc is just liberal BS to increase taxes on everyone.

Praying for "justice" in the Trayvon Martin case perhaps?

I was all for Santorum. But after he called Limbaugh 'foolish' during that slut incident and claiming that Zimmerman is 'malicous' and a series of other snafus, I'm pretty sick of him.

So punishing people who dont have kids or rent by making them pay more is conservative now?

You mean like Jimmy Carter?

What’s your point? That only Christans can be trusted?

No wonder your side is losing so fast.

So society should just pay extra expenses for people with kids? How about parents taking that responsibility and a government that has a reasonable flat tax for all? Or if they still prefer liberal progressive to conservative flat, instead of Santorum’s 10%/28%(or the blasted Republicans 10%/25%), why not 10%/12%?

The problem with your thinking is that by taking away mortgage deductions and deductions for child dependents you think that somehow single workers without mortgages will start paying less. The government will never give anything back, they will only take more and more.

Santorum defending tax credits for homeowners and families with kids is something, as a conservative, I support. To attack him as some sort of big government liberal for defending against tax increases is bizarro world stuff.

No conservative wants higher taxes for anyone, kids or no. The answer is not tax credits, it is cutting wasteful government and give aways, yes even in Defense.

Ronpaul is a crazy old coot, but to some degree he is right about closing down or trimming down Mil bases in places like Germany. The way to stay secure is to announce that we have mutual defense treaties with countries where we had bases and if they or us are attached we will have the stealth planes and the B-52s on the way within the hour. Even though Teddy Rossevelt may have been a damn progressive he was right about “speak softly and carry a big stick”.

A MORAL, principled person, like Santorum, will do what’s best for our country, not what’s best for the devil.

Keep that in mind.

FYI:

“Santorum has consistently supported broad-based tax cuts and opposed tax increases either by sponsoring key legislation or by casting votes on relevant bills. Some high profile votes include:

•Voted NO on the Clinton tax hike in 1993
•Voted YES on the capital gains tax cut in 1997
•Voted NO on a cigarette tax hike in 1998
•Voted YES on repeal of the Alternative Minimum Tax in 1999
•Voted YES on the 2001 Bush tax cuts
•Voted YES to repeal the Death Tax in 2002
•Voted YES to the 2003 Bush tax cuts
•Voted YES to extend the Bush tax cuts in 2006”

(ROMNEY) “I respect the fact that he put in place No Child Left Behind. I know a lot of people in my party don’t like it, but I do like it. snip”

excerpt http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,325227,00.html

Plus, Romney has horrendous errors that Santorum does not have, like:

“Massachusetts Health Care Reform Has Left Small Business Behind: A Warning to the States
By Joshua Archambault
September 17, 2010”
snip http://www.heritage.org/research/reports/2010/09/massachusetts-health-care-reform-has-left-small-business-behind-a-warning-to-the-states

And Romney said all of the states should follow MA. lol
==
“Worse, Massachusetts’ political leaders have pressured Washington to help to cover their cost overruns.[34] “

snip http://www.heritage.org/research/reports/2008/08/state-health-care-reform-retargeting-medicaid-hospital-payments-to-expand-health-insurance-coverage
==
In 2003 the Governor refused to endorse the Bush tax cuts, earning the praise of Massachusetts liberal congressman Barney Frank and was even open to a federal gas tax hike.
In 2007, Romney continued to oppose the flat tax with harsh language, calling the tax “unfair.”

IT’S A TWO-MAN RACE, AND IT’S HIGH TIME WE SUPPORTED THE ONLY CONSERVATIVE VIABLE CANDIDATE.

So why would Santorum continue Liberal Economic policies that will bring us closer to the Socialist Hell that is in European countries? These Liberal Economic policies are not going to be the best, and you know it, and God won’t save you as Santorum plays bench warmer for a Liberal Democrat to peruse Socialism right where they left off at.
