I have enough students who are Asian, African, and Caucasian for it NOT to shock me.
AND I teach in an AFFLUENT international school in Jakarta.
Because what the results are *will* shock those that have not done their homework. The poster I was responding to clearly hadn’t - but I suspect he knew what the answer was.
From what I remember from back then ...
Blacks are (or were) abt 12% of the overall population. Black on white crime was about 7x white on black crime.
Normalizing for demographics yielded 49x black on white vs white on black crime.
YMMV. I have not looked at this in several years.
