This past week just has to go down as one of the worst political weeks ever for a US President... (video at link)

I always hear such words and wonder how really true they are.
Worst weeks for a president in my lifetime:
1. Kennedy gets assassinated, November 1963. Sure, he gets martyred into the history books but getting his head blown off really reduced his presidential power and severely cut back on his sex life.
2. Nixon resigns from office, August 1974. Might have buried the GOP for the rest of the decade. Certainly Nixon was never the same and neither was political journalism once they realized they could actually overthrow a president.
3. Lewinsky story breaks on Clinton, January 1998. Clinton fought off impeachment which might have cost Gore more than it cost Clinton. Had Clinton resigned like Nixon did, would a President Gore stand a better chance of winning in 2000? I think so.
So, no Obama didn’t really have such a terrible week. What Obama is doing to the country is what is so terrible.

If Obama has a bad week but the MSM doesn't report it, is it really a bad week?
But is was the “worst” because it is all about him.
Worst week ever for the worst President ever.Now where did I put that violin,the little one.
A week devoid of any constructive activities, only the negative.
Would have been better spent on the golf links.

Sadly, some people haven’t learned anything, and they probably won’t until they find themselves virtual slaves to the state. I guess we just need ENOUGH of us to learn the lesson in order to get rid of this disaster.
That being said, the gullibility of our electorate (”What? You want me to just brazenly promise them free stuff? They’ll know I’m full of it, won’t they?”) is sobering. Especially that politicians now know that the majority of Americans are so ignorant of what our country is all about and how basic economics work that they’ll actually vote for thugs who promise them free stuff.
Obama’s worst week will be in November.
Wasn’t his wife on vacation? If she was away, that in itself would improve his week.
Clinton was impeached. Impeached does not mean he is removed from office.
