Here's the funniest image. The police put a Caucasian clown nose on Zimmerman. Or maybe it was a dressing.

There is something on Zimmerman's nose

The police report says that Zimmerman was bleeding from the nose and the back of the head. It says his back was wet and covered with grass. There is nothing about "grass stains."

We can't see from this video if there is any remaining blood on Zimmerman's red and black fleece or his dark grey shirt.

Anyone else notice that the "white Hispanic" George Zimmerman is a lot browner than at first believed?

Unfortunately, it is only the opinion of a writer at flopping aces that Trayvon’s girlfriend “exonerates Zimmerman - she herself makes no direct exoneration of Zimmerman. The writer takes her words and concludes that her words demonstrate something that “exonerates” Zimmerman.

Whether or not her words mean what the author thinks they do, she demonstrates no such belief herself and the title very misleading implies she does.

Early reports said that Zimmerman's gun (Kel-Tec 9mm Semiautomatic pistol) was recovered at the scene with a full magazine and one empty shell casing in the chamber. I've been thinking about the failure of the pistol to extract the empty case and chamber a live round from the magazine. The only answer I can come up with is Martin grabbed the gun with his left hand grasping the slide. The two men then wrestled for possession with the muzzle pointing at Martin's chest. If Zimmerman had his finger in the trigger guard and Martin pulled the pistol towards himself, the gun might have discharged the chambered round but failed to cycle because of Martin's grip on the slide. In sum, Martin shot himself inadvertently while struggling for control of the gun.

It would be interesting to see a check on Martin's forearms for nitrate residue. I have no doubt of what the outcome would have been had Martin seized control of Zimmerman's pistol!

Moreover, if you were “hunting down” someone, would you call 911 first? Why not just shoot first and then call 911 to explain that your victim had attacked you? These are the only plausible scenarios where liberals are correct:

1) Police falsified their reports and are assisting in the coverup along with eveyrone else at the scene.

2) Zimmerman attacked Martin and when Zimmerman was losing the fight, he shot Martin.

There are no other choices for liberals anymore.

Also, when he asked for a description of the suspicious man, he isn’t entirely sure he is black. He said he looked black. He only verifies he’s black when he starts walking towards him. This sort of negates the narrative that he was profiling him because he was black.

It was interesting to see what the suspicious activity was according to Zimmerman’s father. He said Trayvon wasn’t walking on the street or sidewalk, instead walking by the townhouses.

This is the part of Zimmerman’s story I have the hardest time with. If, as Zimmerman claims, Martin was on top of him, beating him, and reaching for his gun when he shot him, Why is Zimmerman’s shirt not showing any signs of blood spatter? Knowing a little something about forensics from my crim law days, I’d think it would be impossible to shoot somebody at point blank range, especially while BELOW them, and not get blood on you.

BTW, what is the exact source of evidence that Zimmerman did NOT heed the admonition to stop following Martin? From the call to emergency services, it sounds like he acknowledges/will comply with the suggestion to stop following.

I’m not aware of any eyewitnesses who observed the 2 between the time he got off the phone and the time the other eyewitness saw Martin on top of him. So why have I seen more than one news source claim he kept on following Martin?

Exactly, It’s amazing that people can clearly hear a racial epithet, but they can’t hear him say “okay” when he’s told they don’t need him to follow. George’s father added some context here too when he says he was looking for a street sign or address for the operator.

I guess people hear what they want to hear and disregard the rest.

Zimmerman is sometimes a Jewish name, sometimes not. I had a classmate in high school whose last name was Zimmerman who was a Catholic. Arthur Zimmermann of “Zimmermann telegram” fame (1917) was presumably not Jewish. Ethel Merman’s name was originally Zimmermann—from her Wikipedia biography it doesn’t appear that she was Jewish.

I just spent 20 min. looking around the internet on “entry” wounds. The common description is that they tend to be small, and bleeding is often minimal - it depends on the way the bullet entered. A straight shot will produce the smallest hole, of course. Bleeding is not always present outside of the body at the entry wound, or can be in very small amounts, especially immediately following impact. Since it was reported that Martin fell off to the side of Zimmerman after the gun shot, it is very likely that almost no blood would have gotten on Zimmerman. He may have had tiny spatters, which would not have shown in that low quality video.

I know from my brother in law, who is a DC officer, that often people have gun shot wounds which are difficult to find - because there can be so little blood. My husband has seen many gun wounds also, and he has mentioned the same thing.
