After the earthquake here a year ago, while the nuclear crisis at the Fukushima reactor complex was ramping up to its apex, I had this eerie, intense and prolonged rise in my fight-or-flight instincts. Not exactly a feeling of panic, but rather one of supreme wariness and of being ready to jump in the car and flee south (you don't stay and fight radiation) away from the plume, if it headed for Yokohama and environs.
I've had a similar feeling of late, especially since March 1st.
