Rick Santorum won as many votes as Romney, Gingrich, and Paul combined last night. It’s another setback for Romney, who should at least come within 15 points of Santorum.
The key now is to keep Romney from winning enough delegates (1,144) to claim the nomination.
Unfortunately Romney cracked 25% so he got 5 delegates.
And it seems a large # of LA delegates are not chosen in this primary. Odd. I’m sick of this Byzantine nomination process.
Women don’t like Obama, but really like Rick!
What I thought was really interesting was when Rick, on Face the Nation, brought out the fact that Romney does not have as many delegates as he claims.
There is an RNC rule that says a state that votes before April 1, in the primaries, canNOT be a “winner take all” state, so it appears Romney will lose some delegates in some of the states he won in (I think I am remembersing this correctly.)
