As the investigation into the investigation of the killing of Trayvon Martin continues, new facts are beginning to surface, and the Fox affiliate in Tampa Bay found an anonymous witness who spoke to them in George Zimmermans defense, saying he saw the man who was mostly the aggressor in the struggle fall on the grass, dead.
Tampa Bays Fox 13 reported that the witness, who agreed only to be identified as John, saw the struggle and it was his testimony the police used to let Zimmerman go free (John spoke to Fox 13′s Orlando Affiliate, Fox 35). His statements to the cops were instrumental because Sanford police say those screams you hear, the anchor notes, are Zimmermans and not Martins. Says John: When I got upstairs and looked down, the person that was on top beating up the other guy was the one laying in the grass, and I believe he was dead at that point.
The police report allegedly included notes of Zimmermans shirt being wet and grassy on the back, a sign of struggle. What it also includes, though, according to this report, is an initial assessment of the situation as manslaughter and unnecessarily killing to prevent an unlawful act, according to the first police officer on the scene.
This story is far from over as the story develops and Zimmermans side comes up to light. Given that the witness is anonymous and the only on-the-record supporters of Zimmermans are his parents, his neighbor, and his lawyer, however, a reasonable explanation for his behavior appears quite elusive. The station also compiled Zimmermans history of 911 calls, the police report from the night of Martins death, and a number of other handy documents to understand the situation.

We haven’t heard about it ~ probably since he wasn’t arrested, and what crime do you charge Martin with? He’s dead.
Well, I have not seen where the police have released any lab or autopsy reports, but it would make sense to me that Martin would have residue on his hands. A witness saw him on top of Zimmerman and Zimmerman yelling for help. The witness went inside and then heard the shot.
If Zimmerman pulled out his gun in such close proximity, as it seems clear he did, you would expect Martin to have tried to grab the gun. And this would in fact verify the self-defense claim to the extent that it would show they were still engaged - in other words, Zimmerman did not shoot at a distance or in the back.
Of course, it tells us nothing about who started the fight.
That would mean that the gun was out, in play, before the witness known as “JOHN” saw the scuffle on the ground ~ this guy is not a cop!
We don’t know when Zimmerman had his gun out. If Zimmerman had it out at the time it got physical, it would make sense for Martin to want to beat Zimmerman, because he would have thought Zimmerman was planning to shoot him.
Why has this guy’s statement been called “testimony”?
The Florida law simply does not require that you strike someone, or that they strike you, in order for you to be the offender or the victim.
If the final event is the logical culmination of a course of events that began far earlier, to wit, that legal "contact' was made earlier, then the who struck johns may well reverse precedence ~ and an apparent victim being the actual attacker, or vice versa.
Otherwise self-defense would not have any relevance at all in a law designed to authorize self-defense as a legal protection against prosecution.
We know from Zimmerman's own words to the 911 dispatcher that he was following Martin. That's when the process began.
In the end Martin was shot down about 60 feet from his front door.
That's the hurdle Zimmerman has to jump ~
Correct. Any other thoughts about this are conjecture.
How do you justify this assertion?
But the powder on the hands is not conjecture.
But again, it means only they were in close quarters when the shooting occurred. Do you draw some other conclusion.
“......If Zimmerman had it out at the time it got physical, it would make sense for Martin to want to beat Zimmerman, because he would have thought Zimmerman was planning to shoot him.....”

Some of these “conjectures” seem to coming further and further from left field (or is it from Bizarro World?).
Remember, my comment is in response to speculation ~ I merely noted the inference to be drawn ~
I don't know if Zimmerman returned to his truck to pull his pistol out of its holster, but Martin was almost home ~ I'd have that area nailed down tight doing detailed inspections to see, if, in fact, he'd made it to the patio ~ (the porch).
This is troublesome to me for several reasons:
First, we know that Trayvon was dead before the All-Star Game began, so he clearly did not go out during halftime.
Second, we know that Trayvon did not have a younger brother, but possibly the lawyer, or the reporter simply misheard the part about Chad being the son of Mr. Martin's fiance, and future step-brother. But the idea that there was a 13 year old boy waiting at the house for candy all night, yet Trayvon's father wasn't worried simply doesn't jibe. The father also does not mention anything of the kind in his own account of that night.
Now, I assume the family would know what was found in Trayvon's pockets, and I now have no reason to doubt that it was indeed Skittles, iced tea and $22, as reported.
Hmm, so you would just stand there and let some guy shoot you?
There’s a police report concerning what they found. The cellphone (for which there is a phone log from the phone company) indicates he had a cellphone with him. That doesn’t show up on the police report.
Getting ambushed is instigation?
So if someone blind tackles you without warning, and starts to wail on your face, it's your fault?
Who ambushed who? We don't know. Who blind tackled who? We don't know. Etc, etc... One of the worst cases was someone starting a thread containing he said "real pictures" of Martin, that he asserted the evil MSM was suppressing. The thread was deleted, because, as the Admin said, they were pics of another Trayvon Martin (evidently the first name Trayvon for boys is no less popular than La Trina for girls.) All this is not to defend the MSM it's only to introduce a looking glass.
Zimmer appears to have made a mistake in not getting himself arrested. He didn’t do a check in at the jail where they’d noted any wounds or other problems of that sort, and looked for blood splatter.
*****************************************************
Where are you getting all your MISinformation? Pulling it out of your .......ahhh...back pocket? One of the county commissioners was interviewed on Judge Pirro’s show on Fox tonight and she said that the police DID collect Zimmerman’s clothes and the weapon and HAVE that. There may be actual blood splatter—and it won’t be springing from your “back pocket”.
By the way, why the anti-Zimmerman Jihad by you and your compadres??
I agree with everything you said in your last post.
We’ve been (including myself) careless with the very few known and verifiable facts in this case.
