"Hulton also recalls one particular conversation with Mary Ayers. "She was enthusiastically talking to me about this young black student that they were helping out," he tells Corsi, "and she referred to him as a foreign student." Adds Hulton, "I was taken aback by how enthusiastic she was about him." Within a year of this conversation, Hulton had a fateful meeting with the young man he presumed Mary was talking about.
According to Hulton, he encountered the fellow on the sidewalk on the front of the Ayers home. In that it was extremely rare to see a black man in this tony neighborhood, Hulton believes that the man felt the need to explain his visit to the Ayers household. Hulton describes him as friendly and neatly, although casually, dressed. Hulton tells Corsi, "I am absolutely positive that it was Barack Obama."
Hulton was sympathetic. After he had come out of military service, he was a supporter of Martin Luther King, who had pressed for fair housing in the Chicago area in the 1960s. "I took some flak about my support for civil rights from my fellow workers at the time," remembers Hulton.
Obama explained to Hulton that he had taken the train out from Chicago to Glen Ellyn in order "to thank the Ayers family personally for helping him with his education." What shocked Hulton was that when casually inquiring into the young man's plans for the future, Obama answered, "I am going to be president of the United States." As Hulton tells Corsi, "[i]t came across like this was something that's already been determined." Adds Hulton, "I was speechless."

It sure seems like no matter what is discovered about Obama the MSM just sticks to its script. It stinks on ice how completely in the tank for him they are! The guy could grow devil horns on his head and they’d never even ask him why he’s always wearing a hat.
They don’t want to see it, they don’t want to hear it, and they certainly don’t want to say anything bad about Obama, EVER! All the while they constantly seek to dig up dirt on Republicans.
I know, I linked the article to my facebook page and immediately a “friend” posted a response with a link to a 10 point article by Media Matters. I simply told him that I knew he was too smart to fall for that and then pointed out the important part of the article regarding Edward Said.
I do know that Ayers claims to be the author of “Dream Of My Father”.

This indicates that Obama was identified early by Frank Marshall Davis and handed off to the Ayers’ in Chicago for grooming and development into what would be the Left’s Trojan Horse in taking the US in the direction of socialism and collectivism. The young Barack, a not particularly bright, but nevertheless engaging and articulate young black man who seemed eager to please in exchange for a free ride to the top, made the perfect empty vessel for his handlers to pour their ideology into. Hence the inexplicable admissions into Columbia and Harvard Law (apparently bankrolled by the Ayers and other), the ceremonial appointment as president of the HLR (for which he never wrote a legal opinion), then the soft landing among political activists as a community organizer in Chicago (and where he found his spiritual “home” with radical Reverend Jeremiah Wright) and later being catapulted into Illinois State and US Senate seats (using a fair amount of political trickery and manipulation, plus the alliances formed at Rev Wright’s “church” and in Bill Ayers’ living room).
You have to put this in prospective. When Mom married the Indonesian guy...she intended this to be a permanent move...so she gave up her US citizenship and got Indonesian citizenship for herself, and junior. Now, by law....she had given up her citizenship on her own, but law dictates that she cannot give up the kid’s citizenship....that he would make this decision by age 18. So in effect, he is a dual-citizen for at least ten years.
My humble guess, is that when junior went to Hawaii a couple of years later...because he just couldn’t fit into Indonesian life...Grandma took him in and no one in Hawaii ever asked many questions in this period. Somewhere around 18, Grandma realized some idiot had pulled the original birth certificate and noted it was because he was a foreign citizen. It was probably a mistake by some clerk...but it would eventually be fixed with some quiet help from some judge who felt sorry for the family.
As for the foreign status? I think junior took full advantage of scholarships, and portrayed himself as some Indonesian kid all the way up through Columbia University. He didn’t have to mess with the selective service business....as long as he played the foreign card. Someone eventually suggests that this is stupid and he needs to clean up the mess. He gets the amended birth certificate, gets a social security number, and acts like some pure American kid.
It has become quite clear that Obama was accepted into Harvard Law School just as he was accepted at Columbia University undergraduate by virtue of his race and his levers of influence-what they refer to in Germany as "vitamin B." If it were not so we would have seen his transcripts and his college board scores as well as his LSAT's to further burnish the image of the candidate who could walk on water, or at least cause the waters to recede. It is virtually certain both from the absence of any published contributions he made to the Harvard Law Review and from some anecdotal evidence that Obama was elected, repeat "elected," to the post of president of the Harvard Law Review as a conscious and explicit exercise in affirmative action.
No sooner was Obama elected to this post then he became the subject of national media attention partly because of the prestige and the institution. On graduation from Harvard, he was accepted as an instructor at the University of Chicago Law school where he also produced no written evidence of his work and seems not to have otherwise participated as an academic in the cause of the University beyond rather perfunctory performance as a visiting lecturer.
So we have three of America's most prestigious universities, Columbia, Harvard, Chicago and probably Occidental as well, advancing a candidate beyond his proven capacities because of his race and passing him on to the next institution in the line with their imprimatur which elevated him one more step in the American social, economic, academic, legal, political system.
Nor do we know how much influence politicians like Percy Sutton and Dr. Saeed had Harvard and Columbia etc. We do not know these things because there is no transparency.
Each one of these institutions enjoy a great subsidies from federal and state taxpayers. So robust is the treasury of Harvard that it literally has hundreds of billions of dollars to invest. Yet Harvard like most of these universities accepts "charitable" contributions and the donor is excused from paying at least part of his taxes. Protected by this charitable tax deduction, institutions like Harvard have amassed billions in endowments with which it furthers its quasi- public but quasi-secret agenda.
This agenda is quasi-secret in the sense that it withholds from the public an accounting of its policies. It will not release the grades of Barack Obama, nor will it release his LSAT scores. It will not make full disclosure about its admissions policy and why he was admitted to Harvard Law school with what was undoubtedly an inferior grade point and LSAT performance. It regards itself as above the law when it uses race as a sole factor, or at least a conclusive factor in admitting students such as Barack Obama.
These institutions have explicitly said that they are above the law on these issues just as they have maintained that they are above the law as it applies to ROTC recruiting on their campuses. They presume to place themselves above the laws concerning the Second Amendment and the right to bear arms. They operate their own police forces and flagrantly disregard the First Amendment and the right to conduct free speech on these taxpayer subsidized campuses, actually denying free speech to politically despised points of view by bureaucratic means or by the actual physical use of the police power.
They devote the resources of the taxpayer supported institution such as a library and research facilities or their student body, virtually without exception on behalf of left-wing and sometimes extreme left-wing causes and candidates.
Beyond all this there is the intangible prestige factor that the universities lend to left-wing causes. Harvard Law school, for example, will trot out Lawrence Tribe to either support or torpedo judicial candidates depending on their left-wing bona fides. Tribe is paid by Harvard and as time goes on these prestigious professors teach less and less and earn more and more as they are protected by tenure and collect royalties as they publish to captive consumers. Some even vault to the highest offices of land and become Secretary of State.
The list of examples could be extended indefinitely but the point is that our quasi public, quasi-secret institutions, subsidized by us, are operating much like the Federal Reserve, quite beyond any accountability. The problem for us conservatives is that we reflexively and properly oppose introducing government regulation merely because the government subsidizes. Our problem is that the electorate votes in subsidies and conservatives who opposed them lose elections. Once subsidies are voted into place, the liberal demands the right to regulate. This process is carried to extreme and we will see the process eventually culminate in death panels and be justified because the government subsidizes healthcare.
Of course, the left is selective in what institutions it chooses to regulate. Thus we have title V of the Voting Rights Act in which the Atty. Gen. of the United States can, in effect, reimpose reconstruction without due process on wayward southern states and decline to permit them to act against voter fraud but the blatant racial discrimination of our universities against white students, and now against Asian students, goes unaddressed.
Somehow, conservatism must address the anomalies of places like Harvard. It is one thing to subsidize the search for a cure for cancer in the Harvard Medical School and quite another to subsidize Harvard Law school so they can produce a Barack Obama or a Lawrence tribe and inflict them on America.
We will not be politically successful in an attempt to undo the former but we just might be able to make some headway against the latter.
Alas, those are the kinds of complications that crop up when you try to play both sides of the fence, on the one hand seeking preferred status as a foreign student at one point and then needing to scrub that (probable) con later on when that angle became a liability.
With this guy it's just con after con after con, from Conception and attendant questions surrounding eligibility, to Congress with the most unsavory Marxist (and domestic terrorist) characters around. The truth is not in him.

I think your theory is flawed. The draft ended back in the seventies.
A cogent theory. This would fit perfectly with a militant Marxist "Draft Card Burning" mindset. When his political value was recognized and he agreed to sign up for the job (probably with only aspirations for Mayor of Chicago or Illinois Senator at the time of the political aspirational idea's inception), the process of sanitizing his past and restoration of his Jus Soli birth status began.
But why the Connecticut SSN and forged Selective Service Registration?
And anyway, how can he be a NBC with a foreigner, non-resident father?? No divided loyalties. It is impossible to deduce that the founders intended anything else by placing the language that they did into A2S1C5.

Precisely. There was an approximately two year window where those who turned 18 didn’t register for the draft, as there was no registration. ~1976 and 1977. Then Jimmy reinstated registration. Here; it looks like it’s closer to 3 years, most of 1975 too:
“Only men born between March 29, 1957, and December 31, 1959, were completely exempt from Selective Service registration.”

Engaging and articulate young black men were in great demand so institutions could demonstrate their non-racism. Still are, FTM.
Then and now, they're not all that common.
