Word is, Obama didn't give the order. He was still "thinking about it" when he was informed forces were in route. He had to be told on the golf course and brought straight in.

Had it not gone well, Obama would have had to fire people and may have had plausible deniability by not giving the official authorization.

• we lost a secret stealth helicopter in Pakistan on a mission that may have been to kill or capture Bin Ladin (still a lot of questions there)
• We lost a super secret stealth drone that "landed" in Iran.
• We grieved the loss of over 20 elite Navy Seals in one helicopter. WTH?

....and to date we have not seem one scintilla, one iota of evidence that OBL is even dead. All we know is that appeasing psycho Muslims is more important than bringing closure to the 911 families and that members of Seal Team 6 were taken out when their helicopter was shot down because the Taliban just happened to have that kind of intel.
