I've seen the plans for rockets stoves....crisis or not, a portable one would be nice when out camping....

anyone know which is the best to buy?.....there are several varieties...

I'm planning to build my own, simnple design and can be easily transported when its insulating material is emptied out.

I have an MSR gasoline stove for camping or bug out.

Rocket stove is for fixed location because it is heavy.

BTW, don’t have the link, but there are backpacking stoves that you can make out of a tin can that burn just about anything very efficiently.

Make your own out of coffee cans using tin snips and church key.
