Instead of being fired, Quinton Keel the Dover AFB mortuary supervisor who dumped 9/11 victims remains in landfill was promoted and allowed to resign after being promoted.
Keel whose ghoulish mistreatment of the remains of our fallen military heroes was brought to light by whistleblowers has been force out only because was caught retaliating against them.
According to Air Force sources Keel, showed no regard for our honored dead, and no remorse when his willful mishandling of our war heroes bodies was revealed by courageous whistleblowers. Instead of contrition Keel systematically retaliated against those who exposed him.
Keel has been accused of lying to authorities investigating charges that, among other things he ordered the arm of a fallen Marine be sawed off in order to force his body into a uniform!
Investigation also revealed that on Keels orders the remains of victims of the 9/11 attack on the Pentagon, and Iraq and Afghanistan War dead were merely incinerated then dumped in a landfill in Virginia.
While it is not clear what retaliatory measures Keel directed at the courageous and honest employees who reported his despicable conduct, investigators acknowledged they are also questioning two other supervisors as coconspirators in the ongoing retaliation.
Aside from Keel another man who should be sacked and not even given a chance to resign is Air Force Chief of Staff, Gen. Norton Schwartz.
When news of Keels atrocious conduct surfaced, Schwartz not only failed to fire him but actually created a new GS-13 pay grade position ($85,500) for him with the cynical title of Air Force Survivor Assistance Program Manager.
Now Keel will be able to ride off into the sunset and retire on a fat federal pension paid for by us, without regard for how he did his job or.....

How so? Some short timer comes on a conservative board spouting liberal BS straight out of DU and “I” lost the argument when he won’t answer a single question any of us put to him?
I don’t think so.
Thanks. Sometimes I need to be reminded to breathe. I goofed up with my untamable fingers and they way they type sometimes. I officially do a mea culpa for all those who misunderstood my original post. I really am not that callous or cruel.
Hey we all make mistakes....happened to me once. I was three at the time ;)
;) Thanks I needed a cheer me up....
Yeah, when you are that far into a conversation and throw the “membership date” card, you lose.
Yea, when a poster pulls the lib BS and refuses to answer direct questions from several others on the thread, they lose. When someone points out the fact they are a trolling newb, that does not wipe out a dozen instances of trollhood. He a buddy of yours or do you support his assertions?
But you just go on hazzing your happy and pretend I’ll feel ‘chastized’ by your wisdom....
Alive or dead?
Make him wish he was dead.
So he can feel empathy for those he victimized.
“You continue to rant when no one is responding to you.”
You said something that sounded like you were tossing a thread bomb out there and then you vanished.
Then some other jerk showed up and started trolling.
You’ll note that the pings to you also had another name attached.
As for righteous indignation and sparing it, no.
The facts of this case are that several identifiable bodies of our soldiers were cremated and tossed out at a landfill like so many used diapers rather than given the proper by the regs burial.
Many of the bodies weren’t unidentified.
The only one possibly not ID’d were those from 9/11.
It is illegal to improperly dispose fo human remains.
So even if they were ‘dust and chips’, dumping them in a landfill was illegal.
Hope that helps some.
Thank you for the gentle clarification. I realized way too late that my initial post had the look and feel of either some brain dead idiot or a democrat ( oh but I repeat myself). I again offer my apologies and a heart felt mea culpa. Having a really odd work schedule seems at times to keep me from responding in a timely manner. I need to a) be more diligent in how I post ( though sometimes my foggy brain thinks it is doing it right) and b) I should save interesting posts for after I get home then I can respond sooner
Thank you to all who were concerned enough to want to protect even the remains of those who gave all. We have the same heart.
It was the weekend.
Stuff always flares up on the weekends.
I myself got a little touchy because I am currently serving, and am set to deploy in November -unless Panetta and Obama decide we aren’t- and I get somewhat grouchy about military related stuff.
Thanks, and welcome!
Thank you for your service. It is folks like you who keep me free.... and ever grateful
