I think this has some personal history behind it. Perhaps an ‘etu Brute?’ moment where Caesar not only survived, but is on the counter offensive. Just guessing, but he is dealing with this one in a different manner.

I believe Sleep Train is a sponsor for which Rush does a voice narrative, so he would be in a position to say “no.”. Same with Carbonite.

From the article, it appears that Rush read the commercials that Sleep Train aired in California.
