The vote was 26-23 with all Democrats opposed along with Republicans Stewart Greenleaf of the 12th District, and Mary Jo White of the 21st District, Jane Earll of the 49th District.
Not voting was Republican Jane Orie of the 40th District.

pa voter id ping
I think voter I’d for Penn is much more critical than someplace like Tenn.
How many states now have it?
Wait for it.....
BWHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHHAAAHAHA!
Now I hope they have the STONES to enforce it!
The Dems and old media are having a hissy fit.
Their time is ending, so they’re writhing.
Georgia has had voter ID as long as I can remember
Some federal judge is going to overturn it.
I can’t see it. OTOH, I couldn’t see a judge overturning the redistricting law the legislature tried.
“Now I hope they have the STONES to enforce it!”

Well, we all know that there are any number of agendanista, judicial activist Judges in Pennsylvania ready to declare it unconstitutional or at least issue an interim injunction barring its enforcement — just as in Dane County, Wisconsin.
And the “best pal” of these activist judges, the ACLU, is ready to file suit. Their objective, of course, is to prevent voter ID being required in Pennsylvania in this November’s general election. Wouldn’t want to dampen down the number of illegal votes being cast in Philly, would they?
She told me several times that the pubbies have a real problem with many rinos that are even more liberal than some demonRATs.
The gubbernator said he will sign it, so it looks like PA will be the next state to be sued by weiner-holder.
About freakin’ time!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get it to Corbett before next week.
(Then watch some Federal hoohaa judge try and knock it down)
Heads in Philly will be exploding about now.
WAR!
Probably Rendell’s wife.
Any Republican who would vote against this is just a Democrat with an “R” next to their name.
They are just showing that they favor liberals stealing the elections.
About damn time. Now to spread it across all 57 States! :^o
No thanks, Pimpy McPimperton.
How about you summarize it right here?
Or post the whole mess? Too much trouble for you?
Dittos to that!
This is a major plus, since many states don't have that proviso, as far as I know. Thus, in those states, there is a big Democratic push to get people to vote the absentee ballot.
Palin hates blogpimps.
Don’t be one.
