Define routine. Daily, without fail? Or just a “normal” walk near his home?

The point being, if somebody with a spray puffer of Instant Heart Attack was going to target AB, they would lurk near his home, hoping to catch him on a “routine” walk.

I guess that was my point. You don't choose to eliminate a person hoping to catch him doing something that he does once or month or maybe never.

I live in a pretty similar neighborhood to Brentwood, though it's only nice enough out here in the summer months to go for nighttime walks. And I do this sometimes when I want to smoke a cigar. The number of other people I see walking alone is virtually zero (counting dog walkers as not being alone). I suppose he could have been going to meet someone who had plans to do him in. The whole thing is very strange. Not many people just die suddenly and immediately at age 43.
