My E-mail...
“Just to let you know I will no longer patronize your store. Your politically correct kneejerk reaction to Rush Limbaugh’s statement is unacceptable to this customer.
Any person (man or women) that needs the government (meaning you and me) to pay $1000.00 for contraception for them is a slut.
There are plenty of alternative sources for the product you supply and most are not anti free speech even though that speech may be blunt.
Your miscalculation is going to cost you business. You made your bed now sleep in it.
A former customer.
Second, given what I understand is a very long waiting list for advertising slots, two just opened up.
And if you read the article they are “suspending” their ads. guess what guys, I bet you go to the bottom of the waiting list. What did you say, you're losing money from not being on Rush. Looks like your “rush” decision cost you...
I just sent this email to the Select Comfort customer service department. That was fun.
For a long time I’ve wanted a sleep number bed. I’ve heard they are great. No matter. I wouldn’t buy one now if it were the last mattress on the planet.
Due to your pulling advertising from the Rush Limbaugh show I will not now or ever buy one of your mattresses and will advise every person I know not to as well.
Rush has no doubt helped your sales significantly over the years and has I know being a loyal listener, even bought some for listeners. This is the thanks he gets.
Perhaps you think Ms Fluke will help you sell more mattresses given that she seems to spend a great deal of time on the flat of her back.
You made a HUGE mistake and miscalculation with this decision. You must be owned and run by liberals. One more reason not to buy your product.
In the words of Rush Limbaugh. I hope you fail. I really do. I hope you fail big.
I told them that they might think they’re doing the right thing by going after the $1,000 per year birth control crowd since they probably wear out their mattresses quicker, but if those people can’t afford their birth control, they probably can’t afford a Sleep Number bed.
My husband and I have been disagreeing about our new mattress. he wants a Tempur-Pedic, I wanted the Sleep Number. Disagreement resolved.
I love my Sleep Number bed and absolutely hate the Tempurpedic that we tried! I’ll have to find an alternative though because I am finished with Sleep Number, period!
it’;s about time that we on the right did the same to their shows and their channels.
We should get all of talk radio and sites like these and do a massive petition wanting some lefty removed or do a petition saying if you pull out of a certain channel or show then we will boycott.
He’s pitched Select Comfort countless times.
My apologies.. Actually, the Bachmann incident on Jimmy Falon’s show was worse since she is a sitting member of Congress.
Never heard of “Sleep Train”.
Select Comfort pulled it’s advertising?? There go their numbers.
Is Limbaugh’s ratings hurting?
Maybe I just happened to miss it but Ive never heard of them
maybe we need a list of companies which advertise on MSNBC, or another lefty kook site and say we’re boycotting them or get a list of these companies, tell the millions who listen to talk radio etc to boycott certain companies and see how the left likes it.
Speaking of COWARDS...
John Boehner: Rush Limbaugh slut remark inappropriate
Speaker John Boehner on Friday denounced radio host Rush Limbaughs slut remarks aimed at Georgetown University student Sandra Fluke, but the Ohio Republican also jabbed at Democrats who have been fundraising off the fracas.
The speaker obviously believes the use of those words was inappropriate, as is trying to raise money off the situation, Boehner spokesman Michael Steel said in an e-mail Friday morning.

Fluke is a law student who wasnt allowed to testify at a congressional hearing in February that centered on the Obama administrations contraception rule. Democrats convened a hearing last week specifically so Fluke could testify the need for easier access to birth control.
******
Boo freaking Woo...
This third year law student couldn’t figure out how to “ACCESS” birth control? She needs to talk to some of our customers who get MOMMIE to lecture the doctor on how hard it is for darling daughter every month of her period (LIES) so darling daughter can have sex (& MOMMIE IS CLUELESS).
I didn’t hear Fluke say anything about “ACESS” I heard her discuss COST TO HER...$3,000 every 36 months. $4 - 9 a month for birth control pills doesn’t equal anywhere near $3,000. Besides, if Fluke can’t afford birth control maybe she should SLOW DOWN her sex life or SHUT THE HELL UP!
$45,000 A YEAR for her school but can’t afford birth control. YEAH, I’m buying that! /not!
I hope Rush has a LOT of fun with this next week.
Could you ever have imagined that the President of the United States would call a “promiscuous woman” to congratulate her on her life choices?
I’ve been losing out to my husband for 23 years! He likes a firm mattress, I like a softer one. I’ve been sleeping on a rock for all this time. I thought the Sleep Number was a perfect option. I hope another company makes something like that. I thought I could finally win!
just mailed them telling them I will not give my money to them anymore.
Because they don't now?
