I will answer my own question. In an attempt to keep the status quo, the Israeli government enforces a controversial ban on prayer by non-Muslim visitors.

When we visited the wall there were no police around, not directly, anyway! Not int he area of the wall, but outside the tourist and pryer area.

Where was the Israeli police?

The squeaky wheel gets greased. Where are the Christians when all of this happens? Me thinks anymore that they want to be martyrs. No group would allow their kind to be tortured & killed then sit around passively. The sad part is their killers know that they won't do anything about it do they laugh & mock them. How so you survive if you won't fight back?

"Where was the Israeli police?"

You must have difficulty reading!

Israeli police intervened to protect the Christian group and three officers were wounded.
