Santorum Faring 8 Points Better Than Romney Among Independents In 'Core Four States' FEB 24, 2012 BY JEFFREY H. ANDERSON
A Rasmussen poll of likely voters in the four key states of Ohio, Florida, Virginia, and North Carolina, shows Rick Santorum leading President Obama by 5 percentage points among independents, while Obama leads Mitt Romney by 3 percentage points among that crucial group of voters.
The Rasmussen poll (taken from February 17-22) takes these four states as a group and shows independents favoring Santorum over Obama by the tally of 47 to 42 percent, while they favor Obama over Romney by the tally of 40 to 37 percent.
Among all voters in those states (not just independents), Santorum leads Obama by 1 point (47 to 46 percent), while Romney and Obama are tied (at 44 percent apiece).

Rush said " Patients, Man, Patients, on his show today to his friend who was worried..
Rick has the most support among Republican women, and Independents, and Democrats compared to Romney or Gingrich.

About Rick's message on Iran, just like how the critics are going after Rick on abortion, gay marriage.
How long before we hear the critics of Rick go on and say that this message from Rick will alienate and scare the Independents and the Reagan Democrats ?

In most of those polls ? whom is most likely to pick up the phone and view their point of view when it comes to politics ?
Is it men ?
Or is it both ?
Or is it women ?
Now ? what if ?
Most polls are conducted when the interviewer is talking to a man.. the husband ?
How many of these polls that are being conducted where the man, or the head of the household is being asked these questions and how many of these women that Rush is talking that are not even being included in these polls ?
And now ? how many of these very same women will be voting next Tuesday and Super Tuesday ?
and IF ? IF ? this poll is correct ?
Then both Romney and Newt is not going to have a good day next Tuesday or Super Tuesday.... Power to the Conservative women.

Inspite of what Obama, the MSM, Rick’s critics are saying and doing, Conservative women are saying to them in their support for Rick Santorum is : “ OUR GOD SENT GIFT FROM GOD IS NOT A THING ! it’s a child... a God sent gift from GOD “ and their love for their child is greater than what evil forces will or can try to do to separate that love.

I’m still in shock trying to figure out how we got to the point of our choices being Romney or Santorum? What the heck happened?

Romney is there because the big money donors, the GOP and the media (ulterior motives) want him there.
Santorum is there because people are pleasantly surprised to hear a Republican actually say some of the things he's saying - actually talking about conservative social issues.
Combine that with the fear of Gingrich's past. And there we are.
Just my opinion. I could be wrong.

Steelfish, you are doing again. This poll is irrelevant. It was conducted BEFORE the disastrous debate. The polls that come out on Sunday and Monday are not going to be a happy time for you. :(

Santorum/Rubio would be the ticket to beat. FL and PA, two states that would basically lock up the win.
