And it was a cabal of beef producers who were worried about the declining cattle birth rates that kicked off the campaign to eat less beef.
Even worse, the pork producers have been holding secret meetings with the Mooze Lames to insure a massive decline in available pork supplies and an huge rise in pork prices. Five dollar gasoline is one thing, but when they take bacon away, that's when we'll finally see Congress critters being hung from lampposts.

Not time you do one of yhese I suggest you concentrate on job loss including the impact on the energy supplier but I did like the first paragraph.

Well, we have the same problem here in Texas. This past summer our utilities company shut down one unit and quit the strip mining of coal. 600 lost their jobs in this semi rural EastTx area.

Its such BS.

I group that has started to make noise in my area is the Robert Kennedy Jr. backed Waterkeeper alliance. In my area they’re whining about injection wells but further digging shows them to be a pure anti humanity pro marxist group.

The oppose all human contact with water, coal mining, coal burning, logging, plastic bags, boating, all oil and gas drilling and use, ports, ocean shipping, fishing, production and use of synthetic materials.....

When it comes down to it they believe the only way to protect the earth is total government control with zero personal property.

Bacon and sausage is around $5/pound now.

$8/bu corn is what has caused that.

While the ethanol mandates have caused $8/ corn.

LOL, you are so full of it.

I’ve been involved in almost every facet of the pork business for 30+ years. Everything from selling breeding stock, to Sales Mgr of a major production plant and I can say with no reservation whatsoever you don’t know what you’re talking about.

I paid $4.59 for a lb. of Esskay Bacon yesterday.

Yes: It was actually a 16 oz. package. Hard to find these days.

That crazy thing is I can buy a whole ham at $1.99, and have the butcher slice it all the way through making slices goor for frying and for breakfast.

Sausage which is half lard costs $3.98 a lb.

The ham is better for you, and lean, the sausage which is made from scraps is more expensive, and scrapple which is made from the real scraps is stoll $2.98.

A cam of spam which used to be dirt cheap now costs more than canned ham.

When they no longer have electricity to charge their precious electric automobiles, maybe they’ll see the light.

Then again, maybe not.

Stupid is, as stupid does.

I would read your stuff all the way through except I can’t take seriously anyone who uses a word like gummit or similar words like goobermint. Just type out the word government. It is not that hard to spell, and if you have trouble, use spell check.
