I think there is another forum for these kind of posts. Not News/Activism. Mr. or Ms. Mod should know for sure.

You make a very spirited point, and it is all to accurate. Sadly American Christianity has been so watered down now even “Conservative” Christians no long think defending the faith is Politically Correct. Oprah has won.
Also explains why we are doomed as a nation. We no longer stand for whats right, for fear of offending someone.

Question is ... can you vote for Obama (a muslim?) or Romney a professed mormon?
They are both deceived and are deceivers!
To: Patton@Bastogne
I already voted for Newt. I hope everyone votes for Newt. But, if Romney gets the nomination then the choice is between a Secular Marxist-Muslim vs a EuroSocialist-Mormon.
Mormons may not be fully Christian, but they don’t fly planes into buildings, mutilate girls, murder their daughters, behead captives (or even take captives!!), or blow up busses.
Romney’s politics and Romney’s vision of capitalism for the wealthy only are a major concern for me. His religion is not. You are playing directly to the MSM plan to re-elect Obama by attacking Romney’s religion with this screed.

I'm always amazed at how many people, these days, don't understand what Christianity is.
The LDS is non-trinitarian. They believe that God and the Son and the Holy Spirit are separate, distinct entities, rather than being united in one in a way that is incomprehensible to man.
They share this with Islam, Unitarianism, Jehovah's Witnesses, and a great many of the historical heresies (e.g. Arianism).
Simple truth is that a lot of people have a really hard time with the principle that the fundamental nature of God is beyond human comprehension, and they insist on breaking down the concept into more comprehensible parts.
This is an error. But it's a very human error.

The State-controlled Media will push this Mormon=Christian malarkey right up to the point where the idiot Republicans foist Willard on us as the GOP nominee. 30 seconds after that happens, they’ll begin their Mormon=Wierd Cult meme.

You are absolutely right. What Mormon doctrine holds is not compatible with Christianity.

Romney will get the nomination. Then Romney will loose like Dole, like McCain...
But hey, the GOP got their man. Romney who’s paid his dues, is established and been around for a while gets what he wants, the MSM gets a moderate that they like. Everyone wins, right?
