Newt's PEOPLE POWER strikes a chord with me, since as a citizen of liberal New York I feel helpless.

I am totally in touch with Newt's call for PEOPLE POWER, since as an American Citizen and resident of liberal New York State, I feel helpless. NY State needs many reforms, but our representatives fail to deliver. For example, NY needs to be a Right to Work State and it needs to get rid of the Tri-borough Amendment which guarantees Teachers and Municipal Union employees the present day contract remains in effect until a new contract is agreed to (causes ever-escalating union contracts). These 2 union perks in NY State have caused NY State to be last or close to last in economic growth, since companies don't come here without high level of taxpayer money given to them. Newt's PEOPLE POWER is for me. We citizens can fix things and change things. Newt really is a change agent or catalyst. Compare Newt's PEOPLE POWER to Romney's speeches, where he constantly says "I'll fix that." Romney does not understand that President of US is not a dictator. Romney does not have the skills to lead reform through Congress. Vote for Newt's PEOPLE POWER, where engaged citizens like me will influence Congress to follow Newt's leadership, just as Ronald Reagan had the American people behind him to conjole Congress to pass Reagan's agenda.

I was also really impressed with Newt’s speech last night. He basically declared war on the Republican establishment.

Hear, hear Newt! Hear, hear!

People are missing a golden opportunity to reform our government. Now, people are on this anyone but Obama. And Romney wrote Obamacare. Not a win/win. Something good has got to turn this around so people will want to vote.

My advice is, stop looking moral support and utilize the greatest tool we have, Free Republic and the internet. Spread your message far and wide.

We profess to be individualist, but we all seem to have a need for someone to validate our ideals and ideology.

You'll find plenty of support here, and as for the lurkers and trolls...ignore them. You'll learn pretty quick who they are, and just go right past them.

It's either that, or move to a red state.

Gingrich declared war on the Republican establishment, and we will now Gird our Loins for the fight.

If God be for us, who can be against us? Pray and pray continously.

People Power is what the Tea Partys are all about..
Dressed incognito (as Indians) throwing metaphorical tea overboard..

Melodramatic sure.. but less melodramatic than Washington D.C...
Which “IS” the point..
