Also, when reading the "Original Article", I find it just a tad difficult to believe that efforts to "clear the path" for Obama were underway in 1973... when he was 12 years old. That is shrill and silly.
This argument isn’t worth the time to waist. It is a done deal. He’ll probably get another term as the PTB rule this once great nation. Instead it became a Banana Republic. That’s what happens when we allow the scum to take over while we lay back unwilling, lazy & apathetic to fight for liberty.

Citizenship issues are VERY complicated. Everyone THINKS they know all about it, but they would be wrong. The only safe bet is being born on U.S. soil in one of the 50 states to two citizen parents. Any deviation from that brings up questions of eligibility to the office of president and vice president.

If "born in the US" were what the Founding Fathers had intended then why have there been so many attempts to change the Constitution to what you're saying it already says?

Meanwhile, the GOP is busy attempting to nominate the alleged most electable, to defeat Obama. The question is, when will the GOP determine to challenge Obama’s eligibility?
Obama is not eligible, nor was he ever eligible, under Article 2. Obama is not a natural born citizen meeting the constitutional requirement. But the GOP plays on...Why? Are they in on it?

If you are going by Law Of Nations for the definition of NBC, then you need to read the whole thing, or at least the next few sections... The definition is in section 212 of book I. A few sections down is:
§ 217. Children born in the armies of the state.
For the same reasons also, children born out of the country, in the armies of the state, or in the house of its minister at a foreign court, are reputed born in the country; for a citizen who is absent with his family, on the service of the state, but still dependent on it, and subject to its jurisdiction, cannot be considered as having quitted its territory.
Thus McCain, unfortunate as his candidacy was, was at least eligible to the office of President.

Twisting the natural born language into what it clearly does not mean only aids those who would avoid a strict interpretation of our constitution and who are opposed to the values we prize.
