With Hussein on one side and Hussein-lite on the other, we only have one party.

We’ve got two parties. One is socialist heavy. The other is socialist light.

We need a Conservative Party.

I lived in the Democratic Peoples Republic of Maryland (DPRM) for many years, it is essentially a one party state. The left wing politics gets ugly. Very ugly.

I keep posting this message: Both parties are driving us toward socialism it’s just that one party is driving a little faster than the other. If obama is reelected the fault lands squarely at the feet of the GOP for not supporting a true conservative. I will not vote for a RINO and if obama is reelected because of a third party then I’m ready to rip off the band-aid and have this revolution. I can fight for my children’s freedoms. If I help elect a RINO then my children will have to fight for their own freedoms. I’d rather do that for them.

>"attacks on Newt being repeated by all the media/government "

This is PROOF of one party rule.

Both sides working for one side, makes things one sided, doesn't it?

TIME FOR TEA

Go Newt!!!

We've basically been under one party rule since the 1989 swearing ins with no real difference between the two parties. The GOP had promise in early 1995 and became as one with the Dems within a few months. I welcome a Third Party and the ending of the current party choke hold the current Gemopublicancratic Socialist Party has created.

Very good article! Not sure that there is a way out for anyone under 30 or so. Politics has indeed become a game between like minded individuals and parties. It makes little difference who you vote for. Your crook or mine...

Is this the end of the Republican form of government? Seems so unless there is something of a revolution among the young. You would think that they would be the initial group to revolt since they are going to be responsible for all the debt incurred from the last generation or two.

Depends on the third party. Problem is, most of the current alternatives make you feel like you were seated next to someone on a transcontinental flight who told you they sell Amway products.

Let's see, we have the Demipublican party, and the Republicrat party, so we must fear that third party, the TEA party, they might split the vote.

This is why I would prefer a monarchy, or the chaos of multiple political parties that come, grow, die and and go, as they have in other countries. The British model of two political parties that we’ve got here is so antiquated, and once the two parties get established they just divide the spoils and defend their one and a half party territory as they are now doing with Mittens and the threat to their rule by Newt.

I fundamentally agree with your premise... I share this perspective... but you should be aware that voicing it this clearly might earn you a zot. The Powers that Be here at FR don't care for lines of reasoning that might lead you to a third-party vote, or a protest vote.

Take it from a Ron Paul fan.

Why live in fear?

Simply lay down the rules to the GOP.

If it’s Romney, it’s third party.

There are consequences for choices.

See my tagline.

What really pisses me off is the elite GOP establishment is telling us conservatives the same thing obama is telling us. GO TO HELL! WE DON’T NEED YOUY!

This is from Cleon Skouson's "The Naked Communists" and it lists 45 Communist Goals obtained from the KGB in 1958.

15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.

It is obvious they took over the Democrat Party many years ago and have also infiltrated the Republican Party. I think their main operatives are political consultants using polls conducted by their media accomplices. Those polls encourage the consultants and the party to move to the left to attract the moderates. That way, no matter who wins the society is moved further to the left.

It is very difficult to start a third party and have it certified in all states. Therefore, it is easier for us to continue to try to take over the Republican Party. Even if we were to be able to start a third party the Marxists would immediately start infiltrating it.

The best course of action is to learn the enemy. Do research on The Frankfurt School, Communists Goals, and Saul Alinsky. Know that the media, the Democrat Party and the labor unions, including public employee unions, have all already been taken over. Until now, they have been of the Fabian School of Communism. That means their strategy was to progress slowly through stealth and deception. The IRS, EPA, SS, Welfare, Medicare, the Dept. of Energy, Commerce, Agriculture and others are all part of that. Political correctness is a tactic to silence opposition. Don't allow it.

Vote for the best Republican you can find who will not continue the charade.

we have instituted and indoctrinated our own offspring to lead us exactly to this point: One Party Government.

This is the sentence which stands out to me. This being the case, and it is, how can we not expect what's happening now, to only spread and intensify-that is having "two parties" of big government, and over time, of the left? Everything that ever made this country exceptional has been eroded through the indoctrination of each successive generation, bit by bit. We have a small niche in the media and hardly a toehold in academia. What else can be expected, and why would it not get worse in the near future? Christians are being more and more blatantly marginalised. I take comfort that this world is not my home.

Left, right, doesn’t matter anymore. They’re just two sides of the same coin, both being totally corrupted by power. The majority of Americans live sandwiched between the extremes of the left and the right, and have no real representation in government as a consequence.

Fear a third party? After the vicious scorched earth tatcics unleashed by the establishment against anything conservative, I WANT a third party. A conservative party.
