On January 26, 2012, a state court in Georgia is scheduled to conduct an impartial hearing on a case filed against Obama’s natural-born-citizen eligibility for President according to Georgia state law. …This after the judge rejected a motion for dismissal put forth by attorneys for the White House.
As a result, the incumbent President running for reelection MIGHT NOT APPEAR ON THE BALLON in the Georgia primary. AND GEORGIA IS A BIG STATE WITH LOTS OF ELECTORAL DELEGATES!
How can this happen? Could this be the first of other states to hear similar cases before their primaries? If court decisions begin to trend towards disqualifying Obama, what does that mean for his current status as President and his chances of being elected for four more years come November?

Drake and Markham Robinson, he filed suit in the California state court system at the 2008 election, as well as in the federal system. …And his cases are still working their way through the process.
Bottom line: The Georgia hearing is THE case to watch and that if justice is done, Obama will not likely appear on the Georgia ballot. But if this case does not soon emerge prominently in the public eye, dirty deeds might be done in the dark to quietly squash this hearing. So, please pread the word.

of course, everyone is forgetting something when relating to this issue... in the case of eligibility, it’s not up to others to prove you’re not eligible... it’s up to the candidate to prove his eligibility. the assumption is always that the candidate is not eligible requiring proof

“The electors shall meet in their respective states, and vote by ballot for two persons”
That cites a section that was superceded by the 12th ammendment. Back then, the electors voted for 2 people. First = president; 2nd = vice, provided each was voted by a majority of electors. Now there is a seperate ballot for president and vice-president.

Should this happen, the Obots will move to bring the case to a federal court. The problem for them is, by the Constitution it is entirely up to the States. Federales have no jurisdiction. Heh, heh.
Good observation. I use three different computers on three different lines. Any site that talks about this issue gets blocked by google and others. Google blog search shows 5 articles on the Georgia issue. I think there have to be thousands.

I believe California and some ther stATES have adopted rules where thestate’s electorial vote is decided by the national popular vote. Anyone have information on this? If BO is left off the Ga. ballot he will lose the national popular vote and thus those electorial votes. This is more than Georgia. Imagine the Republican getting the California votes by default. Sweet Justice

All questions concerning Obama’s nativity and current eligibility could be answered by releasing his Form SS-5 Application on file with the SSA:
Records Available from the Social Security Administration (SSA)
For a fee, the SSA will provide a copy of the Form SS-5, Application for Social Security Number.
Send the required fee, plus:
the person’s name
the person’s Social Security Number (if known)
either evidence of death or a release-of-information statement signed by the person about whom the information is sought

But he can’t because it will prove he’s not eligible. Why aren’t you asking Obama to release the historical data on his nativity and current eligibility?

this is not a “desperate” last-minute-assault agin this Administration [”because of the way the last 3ys have gone”].
Its been the courts & elected officials blocking this whole issue since BEFORE the 2008 election.
