If Romney wins Tuesday and garners the nomination, should the Tea Party field a candidate?

It's looking more and more like the RINO, country club, elitist attacks on Newt Gingrich are having their intended effect and that Mitt Romney will win in Florida and possibly take the Republican nomination. I don't know about you, but I'm up to **here** with the "lesser of two evils" nonsense and I very much doubt that Mitt will choose Sarah Palin or someone like her as his VP.
What to do, then? I'm open to any and all suggestions.

I have to disagree. If you want true conservatism to live to fight another thay, the answer is not “vote for Romney.”

Yea they had moved into Socialism/Communism under the mantra of Progressive movement! They can call them progressives all they want but to me they are Socialist-Communist!

No one in their right mind believes that a Republican nominee who loses FL in the primary will be able to win FL in the general. It wont happen. Absolute horsecrap. This is like saying a Democrat who loses the Florida primary won't be able to win Florida in the general. Obama lost Florida by 18 points in 2008 and went on to carry the state in the general by 3.
Nice try, Jeane Dixon.

My point is that the opposition to GWB was as least as great back then, and most all registered Republicans here are going to cave and vote Mitt if the alternative is Obama, chest beating, hyperventilating and threats to go third part all being BS. Pretending otherwise is just plain stupid and immature.

Well, then I must be stupid and immature, and so must Jim Robinson, because if I remember correctly, he has basically said the same thing.
Jim can correct me if I am putting words in his mouth.
But irrespective of what Jim does or doesn't do on this issue,
If Romney is the nominee, I will not vote for him.
You can brow-beat people, you can call them names, you can pull out the Obama fear card, but a lot of us just can't vote for a Lying, Progressive Republican like Romney.

There’s absolutely no way I will ever vote for or support that abortionist/statist paper hanging son of a bitch Myth Romney!! That clear enough for you?

I think Rick is between a rock and a hard place. I’m sure that the establishment has let him know if he drops out and endorses Newt his career is over. But if he drops out and endorses Mitt we will make sure his career is over.

Get pushed off the ledge, or jump.
Rick is going to have to choose, but soon someone will be giving him the shove if he doesn’t.

That;s good enough for me!
I hate the bastard, too, don’t get me wrong, but I really wonder how many people are going to hold their nose and vote for him.
Hey, I wanted Cain, and you can’t find a post by me critical of any real conservative. Plus I love the Patton reference,
So, what will you, and FR do if he’s the nominee?
For me, I think he’s possibly MORE dangerous than Obama. Obama we know what we have, Willard, I fear who/what he would put on the SCOTUS.

I just hope he sides with the people. If he does, he'll forever be able to hold his head high, and know that when the going got rough, he did what was best for his country.
You can bet that the people will never forget it, either.

Perhaps the question should be: “Can the Tea Party select a viable candidate?”
