Speaking of debt limits....I just lowered my credit card limit from $15k down to $5k. They keep creeping it up on you, if you don’t watch them. Is this a plot?

I called them (YEARS ago) and told ‘em don’t ever do that without my explicit permission. Do I need to send a registered letter to that effect? (I did not have to do so.)
