Perhaps the number was CCV-LI-MCMX?

I think it's just a matter of spelling. They misspelled born. It's spelled b-o-r-n not d-i-e-d.

could be someone born in 1890 but died after SS went into effect. Both of my grandmothers lived to be 90 and died in the 1960’s...born in the 1870’s sometime during that period
