Rubio’s parents were not natural born US citizens. Rubio's parents only needed to be US citizens on the day of his birth (on US soil) for him to qualify as a Natural Born Citizen. They needn't have been NBC themselves, for him to be one.

Rubio’s parents were not natural born US citizens.True but Marco Rubio is having been born in Miami. Only TWO categories of citizen: Natural Born and Naturalized. As to the Native Born "category," that is a SUBSET of Natural Born. All Native Born citizens are natural born and, birth bozo fantasies aside, there are legally only TWO categories: Natural Born and Naturalized.
