Newt Gingrich has staked out a string of positions over the course of the campaign that should be enough to disqualify him from holding the nation's top political office. Gingrich can't grasp the concept of separation of powers and believes the president should overrule court decisions he dislikes willy-nilly. He's in favor of child labor and peppers his speeches with race-baiting language. About the only thing Gingrich gets right is his desire to reinvest in space research.
But this statement might resonate with voters more than any of those disqualifiers:
Certainly, shes one of the people Id call on for advice, Gingrich said in an interview with CNNs Wolf Blitzer. I would ask her to consider taking a major role in the next administration if Im president, but nothing has been discussed of any kind. And it wouldnt be appropriate to discuss it at this time.
Gingrich was speaking of his new supporter Sarah Palin, one of the most disliked public figures even in this era of general political disillusionment. Vice presidential picks rarely prove consequential, but Palin's spot on the ticket may have cost John McCain as much as two percent of the national vote in 2008, according to some political scientists. In the unlikely scenario that Gingrich wins the GOP nomination, he would be unlikely to offer that same position to Palin, but even hinting at a cabinet post for Palin should be enough to derail Gingrich in a general election.
West could be the first African-American President, as opposed to an African-Un-american President.
LOL! Not VEEP, old timer!
Secretary of Energy would be just fine for her.
She can then run for Senator of somewhere in 2014...
The senate hearings for either one will be a circus, especially if the Democrats retain control of that body.
Hey you want to know what’s REALLY scary..Vice President Joe Biden..wait, that already happened!!
More than likely she added ten points to his number!!!
Put Palen in charge of the energy department, West in defense, Bolton as secretary of state and so on. There is an enormous pool of strong patriotic men and women to choose from.

The PDS is oozing out Patrick's ears.
.
Really? 2ndDV is rock-solid so i hope that lefty accusation was a joke.
I was just thinking that head of Department of Homeland (in)Security might be an appropriate position for Palin and a great improvement over the current head. I would trust Palin with that.
They kept demanding an answer, so he stood up again and said, “All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!” ~ John 8:7

Could not agree more. Newt/West would smash Obama and the MSM! That’s what I call a two-fer!
