I had been hearing about some alternative group to Girl Scouts with some quasi-negative comments thrown in and wondered what possibly could be going wrong with the Girl Scouts........now I know.
Unlike the Boy Scouts, Girl Scout management has a reputation for consistently being on the liberal side of issues.
Yes - the alternative group is called ‘American Heritage Girls’. It is a Christ-centered group designed for young girls. A lot is involved to start a group but all requirements are listed on this group’s website. I like the creed and the direction this program takes for young girls. There is a website - do a search!
