Yes - the alternative group is called ‘American Heritage Girls’. It is a Christ-centered group designed for young girls. A lot is involved to start a group but all requirements are listed on this group’s website. I like the creed and the direction this program takes for young girls. There is a website - do a search!

my sister just pull her daughter (and the whole troop) out of GSA and joined the Heritage Girls. After hearing about the difference between the the liberal GSA and the more traditional group my 8th grade son said, “so instead of getting Girl Scout cookies for Christmas she's going to give away beef jerky.”
