Ron Paul will never win the nomination...
It's Newt Gingrich... or say 'hello' to President Romney
The anti-Romney vote approximates 60-80% in most upcoming primary states... yet he's starting to run away with it. The problem with that being Mitt -although a competent manager and clearly no dummy- is not a conservative, but an unprincipled, opportunistic chameleon with zero core beliefs who cannot be trusted to act with the courage and conviction required for repealing ObamaCare or any of the other damaging legislation/diktats recently rammed down our throats by the power-drunk Left... but Gingrich can.
Yes, we've arrived at the point where only unity on the American Right can prevent us from having to endure four (or more) years of Obama-Lite, the legitimizing of the entire so-called 'progressive' era, and the permanent acceptance of the USA as a Big-Government entitlement-state... that's what a Romney presidency brings (provided he can even get enough conservatives to show up on election day).
To me, that means the end of all that ever made this country great in the first-place... and probably a national debt crisis.
I therefore deplore each and every one of you to have a real look at the genuine Reaganite platform you can expect from a Gingrich Administration- what's not to like?
- Pure, unabashed Reaganomics... with Art Laffer's enthusiastic endorsement . (Ronald Reagan's vaunted supply-side economics created 20M jobs- growing Real GDP 30% in the process).
- Prompt repeal of ObamaCare, firing of all czars, and classification of all terrorist detainees as 'enemy combatants'.

In my humble opinion Newt Gingrich has done far more for the conservative movement in this country than anybody else on the stage... I'm talking about getting things done.
There's no more able defender of American exceptionalism than the Former House Speaker, either-
a true believer if ever there was one, and a stand-up guy to boot.
Ron Paul supporters can and must realize their candidate made himself unelectable with fringy, turtle-esque views on important national security issues... then ask themselves if RP ever really thought he could be president- sure doesn't act like it. I know you guys are having fun and all, but just think about getting most of what you want from Gingrich, who's gone out of his way to praise Paul's fiscal views. Although I don't know to what degree he'll be able to impress you over the long run, I can guarantee you won't like a President Romney any more than I will.
Santorum's mediocre debate performances of the last couple days made it clear to most that he's not going to be setting the world on fire in November's general -nor perhaps any other- election. He's a good guy, but is this really the pony you want to bet the farm on?
Both Mittens and Obama are undoubtably mortified of facing Gingrich one-on-one... no candidate has a better chance of landing a knockout punch on the Bolshevik Boy Wonder in debate than Newt... nobody.
This is a man who's says he's dedicated to a second
Reagan Revolution -as nothing less with restore the glory and might of the United States. It therefore boils down to whether you choose to believe him... as I do.
I urge you to consider doing the same: Newt's been plenty open regarding his platform, and it's honestly hard for me to understand the cynicism in some out there, doesn't seem grounded in reality.
Gingrich spoke to an overflow crowd at his Derry, NH Town Hall yesterday, where he blasted Obama both barrels while offering a refresher on his own supply-side credentials.
Saturday Newt held a special Veterans' Town Hall featuring former Reagan National Security Adviser Bud McFarlane at the at the Wright Museum of World War II History in Wolfeboro, NH, where he by all accounts delivered a dazzling performance...

Hello to President Romney? More like, hello to 4 more years of Obummer since Romney will undoubtedly lose.
Also you might wanna correct this line; I think you meant to use 'implore': I therefore deplore each and every one of you to have a real look at the genuine Reaganite platform

We’ll see what happens with the actual votes tomorrow. Romney appears to be losing support instead of gaining it. Don’t think Santorum is gaining much traction. Conservatives in SC I don’t think will vote for Huntsman.
Hopefully, conservatives will coalesce around Gingrich. He dropped when there was a vacuum of debates and Romney made his move to destroy him. With the debates back, he can speak for himself and will hopefully rise again. There are two more debates before the SC vote.

Yes the Adminstration wants to run against Romney, it grows clearer everday. We need to wake up before it is too late. No, there will be no President Romney, four more years of Obama is correct.

Whoa! Check out the hair helmet in that pic. No wonder he was buddying up with Trump.
In all seriousness, though, my state's primary is on Super Tuesday. It'll depend on who's still around as to whether I'm a participant.

There is no reason to panic Folks, but I agree we must at some point soon unite behind Newt. Only then will we see the stark contrast between the two men.
I can’t imagine that Perry, Santorum, Huntsman etc will continue after SC if they do poorly there. I also would expect Sarah Palin, Rush and others to back Newt if it gets down to just two people left in the race.
Romney will avoid debating Newt one on one for as long as he can get away with it.
Anyone watching the debate yesterday will see clearly that Newt is the conservative candidate up there.

Why not just let the primary process go forward? That’s why we have it: to pick the candidate. There’s plenty of time to unite behind the winner.

We all want a conservative, but people are not voting for them. Why?!

I therefore deplore each and every one of you... Maybe that's why we're not cooperating. :)
Look, Romney is winning because there are too many single-issue conservative factions. It's as simple as that. Social conservatives can't stand Gingrich's divorces, national defense conservatives can't stand Paul's foreign policy or Huntsman speaking Mandarin on stage, fiscal conservatives can't stand Santorum's Big Government leanings and don't trust Gingrich, libertarians are hearing their views ridiculed by everybody but Paul...it's no wonder the RINO candidate is leading - because RINOs are the the only faction happy enough with their candidate to keep supporting him.

I will be voting for Newt tomorrow here in NH.
However, it seems most of the other Republicans in my office are voting for Romney.

I agree. We are going too many directions, which is how we ended up with McCain 4 years ago.

Why not just let the primary process go forward? Thats why we have it: to pick the candidate. Theres plenty of time to unite behind the winner.Because when we thought that same thing in 2008, McQueeg won with only 33% in SC and 36% in FL and the race was over. Unfortunately, too many GOP voters are lemmings.

I sent Newt $25.00 a few days ago. I can't afford much but the stakes are too high for me not to help.
If everyone works a little harder this year we can win.
Politics can't be a spectator sport for us, get out on the field and hammer away!
I worry when I see how much cajoling is needed to support this forum, it should be simple but it's like getting blood out of turnips sometimes.
We've got to support the effort, or lose everything worth having.
