NBC's Andrea Mitchell on New Year's Day made it clear to Nightly News viewers that her Obama-loving network will continue using the race card to assist the current White House resident's reelection.
In a brief segment about the upcoming Iowa caucuses, Mitchell said "the rap" on the Hawkeye state is that "it doesn't represent the rest of the country - too white, too evangelical, too rural"

That's what I've always said about Andrea Mitchell and NBC/MSNBC -- too white, too liberal, too stupid.
File FCC complaint on making a racist bias remarks. A good lawyer can make good hay out of this one. Imagine if a broadcaster said location too black, too urban and too Muslim. Conservatives got to learn. You want PC rules done away, use it on a liberal. Remember hate crime laws. You know how many black leaders had second thoughts about them when white victims used it to tack on more prison time on black criminals. Of course all that stopped with AG Holder, but when conservatives come back to power use PC rules to the hilt and torment your political enemies with it.
Andrea, what is the percentage of whites in your suburb and in your neighborhood?

Iowa is THE people that got Obama into the race in 2008. If Clinton won Iowa, she never would have had a credible threat the rest of the way. Most people simply do not think in terms of black, white, hispanic, religion, etc in this day and age. The liberal left can only see these things, though.
Cain, Alan West, Rubio, Susan Martinez, etc were elected because of their ideas in 2010, race was not a factor to the conservative base. On the left, they can only see race.
Correction on my post. I noted Cain and included with those elected in 2010. Clearly, Cain was not elected with that freshman class....but the fact that he grew in popularity this year reflected the same truth that the conservative base is focused on ideas and effective articulation, not race.

The real reason - Iowa is flyover country. All that matters to the leftist elites are the Northeast Corridor, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and maybe Chicago (because their “messiah” is from there). Everyplace else is populated by dumb peasants (hey, Minneapolis, that’s what the elite really thinks of you, in spite of all that “progressive”.)
