Muslim Brotherhood: Compulsory Zakat to Have Major Role in Egypt

According to an article on the Muslim Brotherhood’s own web site, the use of zakat as a means to redistribute wealth will be a prominent feature of the new government’s taxation and welfare policies.

What the article is careful to avoid, however, is the fact that zakat is also used to fund Jihad, referred to in Islamic law texts as “those fighting in the way of allah.”

Given the fact that the Muslim Brotherhood spawned Hamas and continues to support Hamas to this day, it would be prudent to assume that official zakat funds could very easily find their way into the hands of Hamas terrorists…

With the United States explicitly backing the Muslim Brotherhood, what did they expect? Things are just running their Obama approved course.

We have the Muslim Brotherhood running Egypt, al Qaeda running Libya, Hezbollah running Lebanon, and Hamas controlling the Gaza Strip. So where is Obama planning to spread democracy next?

That’s the “fundamentally transforming the United States of America” type of democracy obama is wanting to institute here.

.... that is the purpose of Zakat, ask Obama. Terrorists? ...NO! ...... “Disciples of the religion”

Left to Obama? You and I would be paying Zakat.
