Perhaps one explanation would be that the illegal messkans are returning home due to poor ecomonics in the U.S.

Perhaps it is because more law-abiding responsible adults are packing which results in fewer idiot gang-bangers trying to act tough.
And here I was always told by the Liberal media that more guns would equal more deaths by enraged rednecks and other red staters having gun battles over trivial disputes!

Good, sober, responsible use, handling and ownership of firearms is always a win.
I prefer to think of firearms as secret. I don’t discuss what I have with strangers, I don’t wear it so it will draw attraction, and I am very cognizant about handling my weapon around my son. I make every effort to keep it hidden, and it’s what I called my “find” gun, if he were ever interested in finding it. It’s in a double retention holster, and unloaded, with the mag in another place. There are others that no one could find without really digging, and no one has seen those.
Programs like Eddie Eagle are good programs and I think the NRA would be money ahead if they just sent out mass DVDs on the safe handling of firearms.
Fox news in Austin had a report yesterday that gun sales here were at an all time high between black Friday and Christmas and concealed carry classes were booked solid in the near future. Looks like 0 bummer is the gun salesman for the third year in a row.
