Damn! I'm under the care of a neurologist and in a few short years I'll hit three score and ten, God willing. I object in most strenuous terms to being designated as a "unit." This is but another example of the Left's framing the debate through the use of arbitrary and inaccurate definitions. At the other end of the lifestream, they refuse to recognize the personhood of a child
in utero and at the close of life they do precisely the same thing. I suppose the retarded will be next on the list. Where will it end?

Lets see
when my mother was about 72 she got the most pernicious type of uterine cancer. She had a hysterectomy, chemo and was cured. At about 84 she got breast cancer, again, the type most likely to spread. She had a mastectomy and chemo and was cured. At 92 she broke her hip and it was replaced. Six weeks later she was walking without a walker or cane. Its hard for me to keep up with her when she shops and shes now 95.
Since I was a child she did exercises for an hour just after rising in the morning. Breakfast was on the table and lunches packed by the time I got up. I asked her once why she exercised so hard and she said, I dont want to depend on anybody when I get old. I want to stay active and productive until the day I die.
We just had a great Christmas. I cant tell you how grateful I am to have her still in my life. Are you telling me that if we go to Obamacare that everybodys parents will most likely die when the first treatable illness hits? What a tragedy for all the families who will unnecessarily lose their loved ones decades earlier than they would if we didnt have Obamacare.
A friend from England told me, If you have a serious problem, you pack off to the United States where it can be treated in the same day. Otherwise you flirt with death. So much for socialized medicine.

No setup, I heard the audio of the Levin program concerning this.
Levin stated that they had “checked out” the Dr. and he was legit.
Have no doubt it is as described.

The evil muslim obama!!!!
The sooner we get this vile muslim-Nazi mass-murderer out of office, the better!!!! Repeal ALL obama legislation (especially DeathCare and that financial law), and put obama, Soros, and all who designed, pushed through, or helped carry out the vile, murderous DeathCare law on trial, and make them face the death penalty!!!!
Agreed. My parents are 73 (Mom) and 74 (Dad). I fear for them. I keep bringing this angle up, but if this goes through fully, what if they deny a Tony Soprano healthcare? It could easily be the wrong person as well. People do have families, friends, siblings, parents, children, etc who love them and if they tick off the wrong one(s), well let's put i this way, I would hate to be that bureaucrat.
If I was the bureaucrat, I would really fear that I could end up having a dead horse's head delivered to me. Everytime I get into my car, would it start or blow up? I'd better avoid dark allies and unfamiliar places too as well as not stay late at the office. I'd fear that every time the hone rings, I'd be met with the demand, "change your decision or you won't see your wife and/or kid(s) again. Oh yeah, kick in one 'Billlll-Yun' dollars and a Gulf Stream to Costa Rica too." What's that noise, is it the wind or it is Tony Soprano's nephew?
You could offer to pay me 1 million dollars a year for that job, I would not take it. The American people are sheep but you would end up creating a good number of rams when it it their loved ones at stake.
Let's put it this way, people die. Old people die. It is an unfortunate fact but until Jesus returns, it is a fact of life. However, we are given a precious gift from God called life and we must fight for it. Still there is a time when it is futile and death comes no matter what but it should be the decision made by the patient (or his family if he/she cannot) with input from their doctor(s). I lesser cases, if a procedure can give a better quality of life to a person, then it should not be denied. My grandfather was among the first to hit Omaha Beach and made it to Buchenwald. He fought against evil people like this, evil people who are now a part of our government.
BTW, Free Kosovo from NATO and the Mooslimbs!

It is a hoax but the really sad thing is that with the Obama regime, it is so easily believable.

As I see it, the goal of obamacare is to drive all private medical insurance companies either out of business or regulating them to cover only what obamacare permits and NOTHING more. Of course if you have enough money and can find a doctor who is not forbidden to treat private patients you might be in luck, but I seriously doubt that.

The sooner they can kill off those pesky old folks who remember what a taste of freedom was like, who have the temerity to object to the stripping our youth of the Liberty we enjoyed, the sooner they can establish their totalitarian order.
Who, in 1960 would have willingly displayed their life over a universally accessible medium without any regard for even the modicum of privacy we considered 'decency'?
Yet the youth of today are programmed to do so, without even realizing what they have given up.
Why object to the State's invasion of privacy when you have given it up willingly?
And so many other issues..

Think about how much money they can save between medical care and social security benefits, but letting those over a certain age go without medical care for life-threatening conditions. I would not put it past the liberals to have a plan like this. Then they could tout how they were able to “save Social Security” (because so many elderly will be allowed to die).

This is NOT the kind of stuff I like to hear right now (no pun intended) as I’m dealing with a possible inner ear/balance problem myself (have 5 appointments for various tests and doctors in early January). No neurologist referral as of yet, but that may change soon. I’m not looking forward to it - and I’m well aware what they do with sick people in places like Venezuela and Cuba and the former Soviet Union... I just can’t believe people are stupid enough to let our own US government’s Legislative Body get away with passing legislation as far away from the Constitutional Chains they are bound by as you can get - to interfere with people’s lives and health like that...
Sorry for the rant... This issue really drives me insane with worry and frustration!

WE knew this was coming.Wait until all of those kids who wanted this stand in the neonatal unit while they are tad that since ether first born is only a 23 week premie that they should just hold them until they pass....It will happen. In a lot of the world they don’t bother with anything prior to 24 weeks because it is too expensive.
