It is rumored that some non-profits will experience such Draconian cuts in funding that they may be forced to take the heretofore unthinkable step of pimping for hits on virus laden group blogs like The Examiner.

ALL NONPROFITS should be getting NO money from any treasury but their own. I know many non profits that are completely dependent on their own fund raising activities, and that is the way it should be.

In many, perhaps most cases, their tax status should be looked at under a microscope, and judged harshly. Tax them and most would disappear, along with the huge govt bureaucracy it takes to manage them.

Form the coolie brigade for shovel ready projects. A perfect location for dispossessed ex nonprofit workers who had too much time on their hands and mischief on their minds.

Be making a list and checking it twice. Start with the Ad Council and work your way through the alphabet, and then dream of the joys of a down economy courtesy of your very own federal state and local government. Good can happen even when things look the worst.

Here's one reason why NYS, a state losing 2 House seats, has less to give away.....

NYS put the freeze on hiring, then added 51, 464 people

And last I knew Cuomo's layoffs amounted to a few hundred.
