The article title got me thinking, so I made a list, starting with the lawyers:
ROMNEY (64) lawyer Bain Capital Massachusetts Governor [2003-07] 4 years public office, plus additional 6+ years running; 1994 U.S. Senator [MA] bid lost; U.S. Presidential bids [2008, 2012]; author

BACHMANN (55) lawyer Minnesota State Senate [2003-07]; U.S. Congresswoman [MN] [2007- _____] 8 years public office ; political activist; foster parent; 2011 autobiography
GINGRICH (68) U.S. House of Representatives [GA] - 20 years [Speaker 1995-99] Resigned from U.S. House of Rep after win - Fox News Contributor adviser - speaker author
PAUL (76) - U.S. House of Representatives [TX] - 20 years + 6-8 odd years running - Libertarian presidential bid [1988] GOP presidential bids [2008-2012] -- U.S. Air Force flight surgeon [1963-65/Natl G. 1965-68] OBGYN; author
PERRY (61) - Texas Governor [2000 - ______] 20 years public office: TX Lt. Gov [1999-00]; TX Agriculture Commissioner [1991-99]; TX House of Rep [1985-91] ; Cotton Farmer [8 years]; Captain, U.S. Air Force pilot [1972- 77]; author
Yep, THAT's conservative.
While I don’t personally care for Perry, I haven’t forgotten what Rush said about he, Bachmann, and Santorum being the ones who would actually walk the walk every day.
All others are completely off the list and I don’t have to worry about refusing to vote for them.
I would quote the line from Shakespeare, but that might get me a visit from the SS gestapo.
This is SOOOO insane.
Interesting list. Those with real world experience seem to be Paul and Perry. What did Bachmann do before politics?
Santorum is emerging as my newest favored candidate, I’ve been through Perry, then Cain, then Bachman, now Santorum.
My frustration level is high, it seems the powers that be, who ever they are (probably the RINO establishment with support of the democrat machine, MSM etc.) are being successful in selecting the primary candidate for us.
I hate to say it and dread the thought, but that candidate is Romney, of course once that happens the demons and MSM, are armed to the teeth and will unload on Romney with maximum firepower shock and awe...I see doomnation in our future unless something significant happens very soon.

What was the one bill Ron Paul got passed?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_legislation_sponsored_by_Ron_Paul
This one?
# Sunlight Rule. H.Res. 216, 2009-03-05, originally H.Res. 709, 2006-03-02. Amending the Rules of the House of Representatives to ensure that Members have a reasonable amount of time to read legislation that will be voted upon. Prohibits votes on legislation from occurring until ten days after its introduction, with the intent of giving lawmakers enough time to read bills before voting on them; allots 72 hours for House members and staff to examine the contents of amendments. Paul charged his fellow legislators with voting for the Patriot Act in 2001 without reading it first; more than 300 pages long, it was enacted into law less than 24 hours after being introduced.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. If RP would have ever run for congress with an (L) behind his name, we would not be worried about him now. (L)oser
That passed. One would never know it.
That was my reaction!
But he didn’t and the kook has risen.
I know he is not running again, but it really makes me question the intelligence of the voters in his district. I know many vote for the lesser of two evils, but for him to be reelected so many times is ridiculous.
I have often wondered who re-elects RP, and why?
Off topic: Congrats on your retirement from 40 years of service to our nation and thank you.
Thanks. I am looking forward to not having the rough commute.
