The wacko husband, Muslim or not, offing his estranged wife is, yes, I believe, more likely to kill her extended family members than his. They are likely to have taken “her side” in his eyes and thus be complicit in what he perceives to be the reason he is killing her.
Agreed. I believe there's some testimony to that effect by neighbors and coworkers who knew the husband.
