Of course. The media would also show pictures of the perp's church, with video of parishioners filing in and out on Sunday, too. Leftoid op-eds about Christian fundamentalism would pepper every newspaper that week.

You're right - and the story would have made the New York Times, Washington Post - and "Janet" would have called it a hate crime...

See MaxMax's post at 120. Apparently, the networks sliced out the portion of an interview of the neighbors where they claimed the family was devout m-uzlim.
