During the Christmas season it seems those professing no religion go into overdrive to silence the message spoken by the angel so many years ago, Behold! I bring you tidings of great joy which will be to all people.
For there is born to you this day in the city of David, a Savior, Who is Christ the Lord. And this will be sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
Why would there be such a stirring to remove all vestiges of Christmas, even the name itself? The question is answered in the verses that follow the well-known promise of salvation in John 3:16: For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through Him. There is no judgment against anyone who believes in Him.
But anyone who does not believe in Him has already been judged for not believing in Gods one and only Son. And the judgment is based on this fact: Gods light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil.
All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants. (NLT)
Thus the battle is waged between the unseen forces of good and evil during the Christmas season. It is government policy to remove the word Christmas from tax-funded mailings and in public schools...

And the good news is that Christmas doesn’t have to be celebrated (or last for only 1 day)!
