Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura was NOT, nor was he ever, a Navy SEAL; though part of Underwater Demolition Team 12, he left the Navy 8 years before they were combined with the SEAL Teams, and SEAL status was not retroactive. The 2 NEC’s for each are different as well. Ventura, though on active duty during the Vietnam War, never saw any combat action.
Ventura’s claim to be a former member of SEAL Team 1 was exposed as a lie by former Navy SEAL Commander Bill Salisbury in his article published in the San Diego Reader. The link to the text of the original article is below.

Negatory good buddy. You mistake illegality with morals. Moral behavior would preclude the bs inherent in the choice of enforcement with current law. If laws were enforced uniformly, John Corzine would be in jail and a dude with a doobie would be laughing while watching it on TV. Instead, we have the opposite. Take a look around your neighborhood: I bet the biggest house is owned by people who run nursing homes, source of all those good legal tax-payer funded drugs. Guess who pays their bills? Yep, you and me. *Unless you live next to banksters then the bet is off.

Ditto Tzar - me neither. I don’t know where you live but crack isn’t an issue around me. I bet it goes for where you are too. The bigger problem is plain old Mary Jane. There is simply too much money being made, not from criminals but from “recreational users” (you may have known one in your past) and the horrible property confiscation laws that we have now. It is simply to dangerous and can lead any family to ruin. I see it every day and it isn’t right.
If the biggest house is owned by a guy who isn’t sucking off the govt tit - that dude is my hero! Count yourself fortunate. Keep an eye out on those govt check cashing dudes though. They can sneak up on you in a hurry.

You know what - I don’t give a rip about the percentages. If they are doing the crimes, convict them. Justice is blind. No-one gets a pass to balance percentages to some artificial equality that makes some liberal feel good.
