The wives of three leading GOP presidential candidates appeared in new TV ads, released within hours of each other on Wednesday. The potential first ladies struck different themes as they moved to help shore-up support for their husbands. First out of the traps on Wednesday was Callista Gingrich, the wife of former House Speaker Newt Gingrich. She was then followed by Anita Perry, wife of Texas Governor Rick Perry, in a TV ad called American Story. Soon afterwards, Ann Romney, wife of former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, unveiled an ad called Character. Gingrich and Perry appeared in the ads featuring their wives.
BUMP
Meanwhile...
both have nice hair...
Anita is a classy lady.
If you’re going to be swayed by such appeals, this country is in worse shape than previously thought.
Well, our country may re-elect the worst President in history of the US or it may end up with Romney.
I pick Newts wife as the winner by a hair.
Gingrich's made the most sense: Merry Christmas!
Shocked at how cute MR use to be.
SUMMARY: Any of these become first lady, we are gonna be spending a fortune in bottled hair bleach.
LOL!
Don’t know about you, but most of us can walk and chew gum at the same time.
Not only can we care about both things, we support who we support even withough reference to their wives.
Either one.
Both.
It’s simple, easy.
During that time, 739,000 people fled into Texas. Anyone who takes that data and pretends that this is somehow bad news for Texas is simply not being honest. At the worst, I'd call it a good problem to have.
So, to give something of a better feeling for the economic situation across states, this chart takes the population of the states I selected above and judges the current job situation against the population as it stood at the beginning of the recession."....Source
Amen. If these tag along honeys want to run, go file the papers.
My point is that its idiotic to factor in a candidate’s spouse when it’s election time. Pretty hair? That’s worth weighing one’s Presidential decision? Really? Seriously? I bet you think candidates going on Oprah to talk about their feelings and love of PB&J sandwiches is a great idea too huh.
What a lovely picture of Rick and Anita. I really, really like that woman. What a HUGE relief it would be to have this couple representing our nation instead of the limp-wristed Mr. Peanut-lookalike and the freakazoid wookie we have now.
There’s no point to your point.
Either you’ve misunderstood and believe something you’ve made up in your own head, or you’ve decided to be a pain just to be one.
I’m not guilty of whatever it is you’ve invented.
Nobody is more focused on the issues than moi.
At the same time I can be interested in who would replace Michelle my belle Obama.
However, I fear you’re determined not to get it, and to make a big thing out of a nothingburger.
